Best night: Coxy

Worst night: Vagabundoz (complete contrast from 2011)

Best bar: Orange Corner

Best place to eat: Most restaurants in Santa Eulalia

Money spent: £2k

Biggest regret: Not going to Carola's night

Going back?: 2014...

Club nights visited: Armin (ASOT) - Privledge. Carl Cox closing - SPACE. Enter. @ SPACE

Best night: Enter @ SPACE

Worst night: I'd have to say carl cox, we got in late and just saw loco dices set.

Best bar: Cant remember the names, just piled in them!

Best place to eat: KFC! 8)

Money spent: 800

Biggest regret: Missing Carl Coxs set, made up for it with Hawtin though.

Going back?: Is that a question?

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Hotel Brisa, San Antonio

Club nights visited: Viva Warriors Closing Part 1 at Sankeys, Rhadoo and Friends at Underground, Sasha/Tong at Pure Pacha, Zoo Project, We Love Sundays at Space, Circo Loco at DC10, Cocoon at Amnesia, Never Say Never Closing at Ushuaia.

Best night: Circo Loco at DC10

Worst night: Rhadoo and Friends at Underground

Best bar: Plastik, Itaca and Traffik

Best place to eat: Pacha, Curry Club, Passion and Davids.

Money spent: £875

Biggest regret: Missing Carl Cox and Enter closings due to tiredness and lack of finances

Going back?: Yes, twice next summer of might go out and work a season before I am too old to do it!

Top tip: Use the bus service to save the pennies, learn some spanish (it goes a long way) and stay out of the midday sun!

Best night: Paul Van Dyk boat party/ Cream closing

Worst night: The night we stayed in

Best bar: Didnt have one, went to loads

Best place to eat: Sissis Playa Den Bossa or Curry Club San Antonio

Money spent: £850

Biggest regret: Not having a night in Ibiza Town

Top tip: Dont go the end of Sept if you like clear skys everyday

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Hotel Orosol

Club nights visited: PVD Boat party, Cream Closing@Amnesia, Hed Kandi 10 year Anniversary closing@Es Paradis, A State of Trance closing@Privilege

Best night: Enjoyed Hed Kandi and A State of Trance for different reasons, A State of Trance just licks it, on account of it being bloomin immense. :)

Worst night: Sunday, as I decided against doing We love@Space, there's not much else to do.

Best bar: Golden Buddha bar

Best place to eat: tough one, between Mambos and Buddha bar.

Money spent: almost £900ish, not counting hotel and flight.

Biggest regret: only doing 7 days this year. Next year will be longer.

Going back?: Well, why not?

Top tip: If you're staying B+B, always force yourself to get up for breakfast.

Club nights visited: Elrow Closing @ Privilege, Together @ Amnesia, Carl Cox Closing @ Space, Cream Closing @ Amnesia

Best night: Elrow Closing by a mile - 12th year in Ibiza and this is one of the best nights Ive had on the island - loved it!

Worst night: Cream Closing - Rammed

Best bar: Cafe Mambo / Sands

Best place to eat: KM5 - Fillet Steak is best ive tasted!

Money spent: Too much!

Biggest regret: Not making it to Ushuaia for Sasha on the Friday

Going back?: Yes, but not next year

Top tip: If there are a large number of your friends on the island, rent a boat. We hired one for sunset with CDJ's & an excellent sound system - was well worth the money. Also, a car is a must in Ibiza - keeps me out of mischief during the day! :)

Club nights visited: Colors @ Es Paradis, Viva Warriors @ Sankeys, Enter @ Space, SupermartXe @ Privilege, Matinee @ Amnesia, We Love @ Space, Cocoon Heroes @ Amnesia, Together @ Amnesia, Swedish House Mafia @ Ushuaia, Subliminal @ Pacha

Best night: Definitely We Love. I just happened to go there on Space's 23rd birthday and the Chemical Brothers were there!

Worst night: Matinee. Don't get me wrong, the music was good and that "La Leche" show was something I'll never forget, but the crowd was so different than the other nights. It seemed like nearly everyone else in the club was either Spanish or French, and the whole time I just felt like I didn't belong there.

Best bar: I don't think I went to enough to judge...

Best place to eat: I didn't go to any real great restaurants either! Just the places in downtown San Antonio I could walk to from my hotel, mostly.

Money spent: A lot more than what I've seen in this thread.

Biggest regret: Missing out on Hed Kandi and going to Matinee instead!

Going back?: Definitely but not next year. I don't want to keep going back to the same place year after year when there's other places I want to visit, like Brazil.

Top tip: Yeah, don't go to 9 club nights in a row. By the end I felt so burnt out and tired, and since I caught a cold I was coughing and sniffling a lot, so on the last night when I did Ushuaia and Pacha, I felt like I was just going through the motions.
 
Dates you were there: 22nd-29th September

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Hotel Galfi , San Antonio. I'd go back here, it was nice and basic, and the staff were all excellent.

Club nights visited:We Love @ Space, Circoloco @DC10, Cocoon @ Amnesia, Kehakuma @ Space. I also went to Art Of Dark Party @ Scirocco Beach Club, Pete Tong's final session from Mambo, and a few other things.

Best night: Kehakuma @ Space. Music was excellent, the crowd was superb, it was busy but not too packed to dance.

Worst night: I can't say I had a bad night, but setting foot in Soul City was an experience I won't be repeating.

Best bar: I was in plenty of cool little bars in Ibiza town. Couldn't tell you the name of them though.

Best place to eat: Restaurant at Cala d'Hort.

Money spent: About £1200.

Biggest regret: none.

Going back?: yes.

Top tip: Hire a car.

Dates you were there: 22nd-24th September

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Jabeque, Es Vive. Second time there. Clean & basic, working a/c. Out the way so quiet during the day. Only 20 min walk to centre of PdB.

Club nights visited:Carnival @ Sankeys, We Love @ Space

Best night: Both amazing for different reasons. Sankeys for the club/crowd. We Love for the line up/music.

Worst night: Neither

Best bar: Didn't really use any.

Best place to eat: Didn't eat over there. :eek:

Money spent: About £400 + flights/hotel

Biggest regret: leaving. :(

Going back?: yes.

Top tip: Sleep. Couple of Berroca the morning after works a treat :)

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Fiesta PdB; very basic but good for sleep & close to everything so for the first time it was ok.

Club nights visited: Circoloco @DC10, Cocoon @ Amnesia, Luciano @ Ushuaia, Pete Tong closing @ Pacha & Carnival @ Sankeys

Best night: Definitely Circoloco, looking forward to this one the most, had been lucky to get there by illegal taxi (10€) because the road was to dangerous & it was too dark to go thru the field. It was a bit crowdy but still enough place to move in my eyes. Found a great spot @ the terrace by the little bar @ the right when u're coming from main. Always quick to order & most space of the whole lot.

Worst night: Sankeys, but that was most of all because I was to tired because of all the little sleeps the nights/days before. Music was ok & did meet some fellow countrymen there, so was good but had to leave too soon... (around 2.30 or 3)

Best bar: didn't do a lot of bars, had some funny neighbours (australians & germans) in the hotel so did a couple of pre-party's there. La Plage was nice, Bora bora so so, did lot's of beach bars but can't remember lot of them. Think Sal Rossa also. The (very) little 'hippy' style bar with the buddha's next to it was also nice on PdB beach. Don't know the exact name, but really enjoyed the music & the good cocktails there.

Best place to eat: It was the first time & hadn't done a lot of research for eating, but Ciao Ciao & Bella Napoli were ok in PdB. Saw Soundorom & Ghenacia @ Bella Napoli the last evening arriving in their Renault Twingo. Was a funny sight. :D

Money spent: still don't know exactly, with tickets in presale etc. Think around €1000 or so.

Biggest regret: didn't rent a car for some more sightseeing & didn't hire a MTB (first didn't found a place & later I was to tired)

Going back? Allready thinking of going in late may/beginning of june

Top tip: don't to do much during the day if u still want to make some nice evenings; did some hiking to Salinas & walked to Dalt Villa, nice to see some more then just the beach, but had to do some more proper planning if i wanna make more out of the party nights

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Hostal Monatana
Won't be staying there again. Rooms were basic, fridge couldn't cool anything down, and beds were very uncomfortable

Club nights visited:
Driftwood Boat Party
All I can say is, what an incredible boat party! Lineup was pretty strong.
Andy Moor played a good set, but talking to him later, realised he is definitely suffering the DJ ego thing. Twat.
Sean Tyas played a banging 140bpm set, while Daniel Kandi played quite an airy set. Had a chance to talk to all the DJs which was good

ASOT Opening @ Privilege
Amazing launch party night and very busy. Each DJ (Jochen, Markus, Armin and Dash) played an outstanding set.
Emptied out when Armin finished, leaving the more hardcore to dance to Dash's cheesy tracks and 'dashups'

Colors @ Es Paradis
Another good night. Great music, but the crowd wasn't brilliant. Mostly full of the west enders who had a free wristband.
Beyond 3am when the club venued just emptied, the atmosphere picked up. Sean Tyas cocked up a couple of mixes due to being a bit, well, hammered :lol:

Cream @ Amnesia
Above & Beyond played a somewhat lackluster set which was disapointing. Sander van Doorn and John O Callaghan absolutely shredded it.

Best night: ASOT @ Privilege

Worst night: N/A

Best bar: Tropi, because their drinks measures are redicolous.

Best place to eat: Davids for Pizza. Most places in San An aren't very good if I'm honest.

Money spent: £600 incl flights and hotel

Biggest regret: Hitting it very heavy on my day off, which ruined Cream for me.

Going back?: Yes, September 2012 (see next post)

Top tip: Be careful when planning days off not to hit it hard

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Mar I Vents
Hotel was ok, very basic. Between both apartments we had just about enough cutlery to eat with :lol:.
One room lacked a microwave, the other lacked a kettle.

Club nights visited:
Driftwood Boat Party
After how good the last one was, we went again. Sied van Riel and Leon Bolier did the job very nicely.
As the sun started to set, Fila (from Aly & Fila) who had been a passenger thus far jumped on the decks.

ASOT @ Privilege
Another amazing night. Line up wasn't quite so good as the opening party, but that's life.
Cosmic Gate played a great set, as did Tropi. Super8 & Tab played quite a boring set.
Armin's was tip top, but near as damnit identical to the opening party. He just doesn't vary his track selection enough.

Colors @ Es Paradis
Party seemed pretty busy this time round, probably due to the Island of Trance holiday during the same time frame.
Sean Tyas cocked up mixes yet again, and mixed the same track in several times. :lol:

Cream @ Amnesia
Great sets by Mat Zo and Above & Beyond, but Gareth Emery's track selection was brilliant. His mixing was terrible though.

Best night:
Tough one... probably ASOT / Driftwood

Worst night: Wednesday night (day off) as I had to go to hospital

Best bar: Tropi, as I got to DJ for them.

Best place to eat: Ate in every day so unable to comment

Money spent: £650 incl flights and hotel

Biggest regret: Going to visit a friend in hospital on the Friday, caught a throat infection there.

Going back?: Yes, September 2013

Top tip: It's possible to eat well for £15 for the week thanks to Lidl. That store is a god send

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Hotel Bossa Park - PDB.

Club nights visited: ASOT (10th), Colors (11th) New Order and Subliminal (12th), Cream (13th)

Best night: ASOT or Cream

Worst night: There wasn't one really, even the chilled out nights drinking in PDB as they usually ended up with everyone back in a hotel till X hour in the morning.

Best bar: New Garden, PDB

Best place to eat: Can't recall the name of the bar but it was down past Figuertas and did fantastic steak. Right on the beach front.

Money spent: Including flights and hotel probably about £1500

Biggest regret: Not seeing the north of the island. I've intended to do this for a number of years and still not quite managed it. Did venture to Formentera but hiring push bikes in 31 degree heat wasn't the wisest choice.

Going back?: Without question. 10 days likely next year. Enough time to explore and see the island and rest inbetween.

Worst night: Coming back -- food poisoning

Best bar: never really went to bar as we bought all our drinks at grocery :p

Best place to eat: Ciao Ciao pizzeria restaurant. Its a few feet walking to ushuaia. Doesn't look nice on outside but very nice inside. Beautiful and attentive waitresses and prices are great for the meals they make.
#2 is Restaurante Union Sol. What we Americans call a "hole in the wall." They serve great dishes here for great prices. Everyone that works here is super nice and cute little Peruvian waitress. Free wifi if you ask and they sell club tickets too at regular prices. This was our go to restaurant.

Money spent: in between 3-4,000 €

Biggest regret: getting a global phone plan from my carrier to have gotten intl #s from more women as my **** one I bought at Madrid airport could only text and not call intl #s properly.

Going back?: hell ya!! Planning opening parties with friends already for 2013.

Top tip: Convert your countries currency to euros before flying in because bank ATMs only give a €500 limit per day, find good plan for your phone, and be yourself and enjoy the island because I made a nice handful of intl friends :)
