Dates you were there: 28th April till May 1 (3nights)
Where you stayed (resort/hotel): San An , THB Bahia. 70quid for two of us for three nights. great value. Staff were great, nice enough rooms, building works next door were a bit of a pain but out and about in the day so werent there to notice them much!
Club nights visited: Residents night @ Pacha (sat). Sarah Main , Tom crane. Pacha was nicely busy, better than I thought it would be. 30 euros in with free drink. Music was pretty standard house, but was excellent.
Best night: see above.
Worst night: didnt have one!
Best bar: Santo Grial. went in before pacha, was a good atmosphere, had a good laugh with some locals, music was excellent in there too.
Best place to eat: probably enjoyed mint lounge (next to mambo) the most, they had 3 courses for 15euros on there. cala bassa beach club was poor for the money.
Money spent: flights 35quid return. hotel 70quid for two. car hire: 58quid for three days (budget) - bargain. spent about 700 euros between two of us.
Biggest regret: NOT GOING FOR LONGER!
Going back?: most definitely, not sure if this season or not, but I cant envisage a time I wont want to go back!
Top tip: dont be afraid of going out of season. The island is really beautiful at these times, its cheaper, and although most of the clubs arnt open , there are plenty of places to party.

Biggest regret: Not eating out more.
Going back?: Definitely
Top tip: Take advantage of the cheap bus service and see the rest of the Island.

Best night: Enter at Space
Worst night: Pukka Up and W.A.R
Best bar: Buddha Bar (best daquiris...just beating Ibiza Rocks Bar)

Top tip: It helps if you have a good sense of direction as nearly all cab drivers I encountered had never heard of where I wanted to go or knew the locations - pathetic!

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): avenida cuartos...francois the guy who smoked so much...he is the best! ... please stay in biz. Francois. This is near Carrera vicente del cuervo ....near a really nice hostel/hotel ripoli.
Club nights visited: pacha and space!! space was amazing!!
Best night: space ! richie hawtin, gaiser, ben clock with marcel dettmann, magda, tini, hito..full on techno diversity. wow...not being a snob this night is very cutting edge.
Worst night: none, please!
Best bar: hmm dunno. went to so many.
Best place to eat: spar and eroski..for me anyways.. i was in a budget .
Money spent: hmm about 450 euros for 4 nights
Biggest regret: not doing surfing lessons... renting a boat..renting a balloon and seeing the island from above!... renting a car...or even renting a bicycle
Going back?: Oh please! YES! wow! what a place.
Top tip: the beaches are awesome!

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Camping san antonio in a "cottage" (basically bunk beds in a room with one door, no aircon, one window, shared toilet and bathroom) cheap but ya get what ya pay for
Club nights visited: Cocoon@Amnesia, Colors@Es Paradis, Channel Zoo, Pornographic @Eden, Cream's 18th Ibiza Birthday@Amnesia, Garlands @Eden, Cream Essential mix@ Privilege, We Love@ Space

Worst night: We love but only because i was ill, 8 clubs in 7 days really took its toll.
Best bar: Itaca reasonable priced drinks Seen Guiseppe Ottovianni for free
Best place to eat: Didn't eat that often to be fair just made do with supermarket food and a few cheap meals, found a reasonable hot take away 100 yards from the fountains.
Money spent: 1700 euros plus £205 for flight and £125 for accom

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Villa Rosie in Jesus, just east of Ibiza Town.
Club nights visited: A State Of Trance @ Privilege, Be @ Space, Cream @ Amnesia, Defected @ Pacha
Best night: Cream Amnesia, hands down.
Worst night: Be @ Space - but only because I was knackered and only a small part of the club was open. Sander Van Doorn still absolutely destroyed it.
Best bar: Drank more at the villa this year - tended to get taxis straight to the clubs. We drank a fair bit at Cafe Mar Y Sol though. Central location and plenty of hilarious street performers.
Best place to eat: We had one meal out at Ke Kafe. Nice ambiance in the place.
Money spent: Around £700 (came back with loads)
Biggest regret: Not getting to S'Estanyol after being so determined to check it out before I went.

Going back?: Almost definitely. Could have been my last trip but I have at least one friend who has to be taken out there again. Want to go for 2 weeks next time.
Top tip: If you stay in a villa in a large group, get a car and be organised about communal shopping. Our communal shops amounted to about 5 Euros per person a day and we had mountains of food and drink.

Club nights visited: Zoo Project, Garlands, Judgement Sundays, ASOT (twice) Cream, Pete Tongs night
Best night: Close run thing between Tong, Axwell & Thomas Gold @ Pacha on Friday (We did VIP and were at a table right behind the DJ box) or Armin, Oakenfold, Cosmic Gate and Protoculture v Max Graham @ Privilege
Worst night: Ending up in Garlands instead of insisting we went to El Row after Zoo Project but it was still decent
Best bar: Khumaras, spent several good sunsets there drinking strawberry daquiris
Best place to eat: We were all inclusive so spent the first week (when we were basically caning it) at the hotel because we just needed fuel to party but during the second week we ate out more. There is a restaurant near Khumaras on the main road where i had one of the best steaks i've ever had but can't remember the name, we also had Thai, Chinese and some Tapas but i have no idea of the names. One thing i will say is we booked a table at Khumaras one night and sat down after sunset and several beers and cocktails. We waited over 40 minutes and asked twice if someone would take our order but we were basically ignored so we left which was a shame because we had spent a fair whack on drinks and had been looking forward to eating.
Money spent: Even though we were all inclusive we still managed 2000 Euros between 2
Biggest regret: Every year we say we are having a couple of quiet days, hiring a car and driving up north. Every year we get battered for a week, spend 2 days recovering and then decide to just lie on the beach for a few days and never bother. Going into Eden not once but twice.... i was kind of bullied into it by the other 3 people who i was with and as the JS line up was fairly special the night i went (Shogun, Ferry, Guiseppe Ottaviani and Ben Gold) but i will NEVER EVER set foot in Eden again
Going back?: Oh yes. Next trip will be my 23rd visit in 15 years (i think)

Dates you were there: 27 Aug - Sep 7
Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Hotel Fiesta Don Toni - PDB. Great location, next to Space & Ushuaia on the strip & between Sands and La Plage on the beach. Went AI and the food was above average for the price we paid.
Club nights visited: SHM at Ushuaia, Cream at Amnesia, We Love & Carl Cox @ Space.
Best night: Carl Cox by a distance. Cox, Liebing & Laurent Garnier all on top form. SHM was good too, but the the other half lost about an hour of the night queuing for toilets, so a mark dropped there.
Worst night: Probably We Love, though partially my own fault. We got the 20E before 9pm tickets, so had already been in the club 6hrs or so before it started to kick off. I wouldn't recommend this option as the club wasn't busy enough to justify coming in so early. The Carl Cox night was much busier all round than We Love and I preferred the production at CC as well.
Best bar: Wasn't impressed by any on the PDB strip, but a lot of the beach bars were cool. Sands, Nassau & La Plage were worth getting a drink in. Bora Bora was ok, but would probably just get a carry-out for the beach if I was going back. Went to the Cocoon after party as well, can't remember the name of the bar but the quality of the talent on offer was out of this world. Nearly burned a hole through my shades!
Enjoyed Tong at Mambo as well.
Best place to eat: Had a few nice meals. Villa Mercedes in San An, Home Loos in Figuretas, La Torreta in Dalt Villa & S'Ametller in Ibiza town. S'Ametller really stood out, we had a 4 course testing menu with wine flight for 70E for the 2 of us. Home Loos was good for Tapas on a budget & the big crazy Dutch guy that owns it was a good laugh.
Money spent: Was just under 700 each for the 11 nights from Manchester. Spend just under 1000E for the both of us over there, but we did buy most of the tickets before going.
Biggest regret: Probably going to We Love instead of Enter with Hawtin & Vath. Would have liked to have seen Pacha & Privilege again too - its been best part of 10 years since I was last on the island.
Going back?: Don't think I'll be back for another 2 week holiday again - just getting too old now, but would love to for a long weekend or a stag type trip.
Top tip:This was my first stay outside of San An & I would recommend this to anyone going with the g/f over the age of 25. We went through to the West End and it was exactly how I remembered it! The Sunset strip has changed a lot though. PDB was generally much more European, slightly older but no less clubby.
I would also recommend getting tickets in advance. We got Carl Cox & SHM tickets at the start of summer for about half price through official outlets.
Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Hotel Fiesta Don Toni - PDB. Great location, next to Space & Ushuaia on the strip & between Sands and La Plage on the beach. Went AI and the food was above average for the price we paid.
Club nights visited: SHM at Ushuaia, Cream at Amnesia, We Love & Carl Cox @ Space.
Best night: Carl Cox by a distance. Cox, Liebing & Laurent Garnier all on top form. SHM was good too, but the the other half lost about an hour of the night queuing for toilets, so a mark dropped there.
Worst night: Probably We Love, though partially my own fault. We got the 20E before 9pm tickets, so had already been in the club 6hrs or so before it started to kick off. I wouldn't recommend this option as the club wasn't busy enough to justify coming in so early. The Carl Cox night was much busier all round than We Love and I preferred the production at CC as well.
Best bar: Wasn't impressed by any on the PDB strip, but a lot of the beach bars were cool. Sands, Nassau & La Plage were worth getting a drink in. Bora Bora was ok, but would probably just get a carry-out for the beach if I was going back. Biggest regret: Not doing Enter at Space, wasnt feeling great that night, and also had done space twice that week already, wish I had just forced myself to go now!
Going back?: Of course, maybe NYE

Best night: DC10 - Carl Cox's 4hr House set smashed it!!! ENTER was my fav in July but ive never seen Space so busy..... Ushuaia for Hawtin n Luciano was magic .....
Worst night: Sankeys - just couldnt get going in that club...
