Take the alcohol test

I was thinking this about this last night (a brief moment of boredom) .....

I've noticed a considerable competitive spirit when it comes to taking class A's on this board, yet when it comes to alcohol it appears to be a bit of a taboo topic :?:

I find that a bit odd being as class A's are equally, if not more so damaging to your body.

I suppose lots of you go clubbing frequently so drugs tend to be the preferred method of intoxication.

Interesting.

I dont drink much at all, never during the week, but at the weekends on a night out I can drink 8-10 units of alcohol, quite a lot for a woman! I spose it's binge drinking, but show me any 20-something who doesn't :? :?:

I reckon when I'm older and have a place of my own and are going out less I probably will just chill at home with a bottle of wine, but at the moment, a night out on the vodka is just too appealing

I suppose that's just it. We all hammer our body's through our 20's but it's when you get into your 30's you look back and weigh up the damage.

It's easy to ignore the carnage when you look fit and healthy on the outside. It's when you start getting a twinge here and there and start thinking "OH NO what have i done!"

And on a lighter note ........

I don't drink at all unless I'm going on a night out, but when I do I guess I binge far too much. Normally share a bottle of vodka with a mate before we head out, as well as some beers. Then when we're out, I guess I drink about the same again :?

As for Class A's, have nearly stopped doing 8O them back here, only on very special occasions. However, meet Charlie on nights out a fair bit.

My thinking is I'm only 22, I'll grow out of it  :? ;)

Last week was exceptional because I drank at least 2 pints every day. Normally I'd drink very little in the week but loads at the weekend. I've notice on club benders that other people stop drinking alcohol after the first few hours.

I think the 21 unit figure for men should be adjusted upwards if you're Irish descent. Most people I grew up will drink 21 unit each night on Friday and Saturday. Genuinely.

Err...your grammar is fine. I would however like some clarification as to why you think I am uncilvilised :?

My mistake was that I forgot a british, or english or a lot. I wasn't talking about you and i don't think you need too much imagination to sort it out in the context and in my sentence

I don't want to start an arguement with you Silvia, but I am actually really surprised that you have written that.

On more than one occasion on this board you have taken exception at people writing things about the Spanish being rude or aggressive (quite rightly). Yet you think it is ok to call all English or British people uncilvilised and tell them to go and learn how to behave like the French.
