Stuck on the 29th... (Decisions, decisions)

Hey guys,

the 29th will be my last night on the island. And it is packed with some very tempting offers:

Tiesto @ Priv

Cocoon @ amnesia

Swedish House Mafia.

I am not so keen on going somewhere just to see a famous DJ, I just want to have the best night possible. Could someone explain the difference and/or pros and cons?

3 totally different styles of music for a start!

It really comes down to what you want to hear in a club.

Tiesto

pros - amazing atmosphere, production, lights, visuals

cons - chavs

Cocoon

pros - amazing music, atmosphere, underground vibe

cons - none really - it won't be unbearably busy.

Swedish House Mafia

pros - Pacha is a beautiful club, it won't be rammed

cons - bob sinclar is playing!

Don't bother with Tiesto...i went to the closing paryty last year and thought it completely lacked in atmosphere and was full of english people. ended up leaving pretty early. Other people have said they liked it but it wasnt for me...thought amnesia was a much better club and had a much better atmosphere.
 
I thought Tiesto was wicked when i went to see him, wicked atmosphere.

I also like Swedish House Mafia so it depends on what music you fancy on the night. SHM doesnt make the atmostphere Tiesto does but the music is banging.

We get there on a Tuesday this year so Tiesto is the night before we leave but i'm still gonna make sure I see him.
 
I've not been to Tiesto @ Privilege before myself but having seen the atmosphere generated by him in the trance tent at Creamfields last year I can't for the life of me imagine how the atmosphere for Tiesto in Ibiza could be anything other than electrifying.

Whatever you think of Tiesto as a DJ or a producer you can't fault his ability to pull large and excitable crowds.

Its swedish house :lol:


If you search for some tunes by Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello. They do alot of remixes and they are the 3 that make up swedish house mafia, sometimes Eric Prydz.
