Space opening, Sunday June 5

Space's monumental opening claims some of the best djs in the world as residents. Each year it is honoured to host Carl Cox and John Digweed, and always they bring "diverse beats and daring melodies", in the words of one recently impressed reviewer. The day's theme of twisted techno and transcendental house will be continued throughout the night by every dj who lives for the groove and will die for the opportunity to play.

Once again the outdoor arena will be erected to cater for the excess demand (and demand for excess) and the new upstairs rooms the Red Box and the premier étage will be open for the enjoyment of alternative sounds.
