i have been there this morning and well.......... they havent done much since last time i was there!! :lol:

(okay, now you can see where the columns of the terrace will be but apart from that..........)

believe it or not theres not much difference between the pictures you saw taken in november and how it looks right now!! :?

and the funniest thing: only 56 days!! :roll:

its a shame that www.space-ibiza.es doesnt have a webcam!! 8O
 
on a curioius note, space is already looking for waiters, security staff, etc for this summer. if you are interested, you must bring your curriculum vitae to their office (situated behind the mountains of ruins :lol: )..........

space advertise for security staff? i thought they just got them from the zoo...
 
hmm intresting..

so it's confirmed groove armada. I'll try not to pass judgement until I hear then, altho what I've heard from previous sets is it's pretty much the same old same old..

most importantly the terrace will be open, and Lawler will have his own night. Just wish it opened earlier :cry:
 
I was just going to post on this subject....it looks AWFUL doesn't it. No open air - no nice wind running through your hair any more....nothing - just a concrete roof and some windows - windows!!!!

It looks like it has lost ALL of its former "charm" if you see what i mean...

Have to agree Michael, it looks poo!

I'd rather have the rustic sound system out in the open air like "the good ol' days"
 
What's the point of going to a daytime club if it's enclosed and not open air? I sharen't bother thats for sure....who wants to be stuck inside in what will be basically a big greenhouse :roll:
 
to be honest this is what I kind of expected, the main reason of the re-building was because of the noise level so I expected there to be no air running through the club..

I'll stay optimistic anyway, when one door closses another always opens so I'll keep my fingers that the pro's and con's balance out and space will be of the same standard of enjoyment as before.

I guess only time will tell.
 
Everyone said the same thing about DC10 when it got roofed, but tbh I completely forgot about the roof being there when I got inside.
