Space Closing 2016

Just thinking about a little booth in the empty car park handing out last goody bag souvenirs next to a closed down abandoned club like Space, with the closing signs still up, makes me incredibly sad inside. One of a kind magical place, nothing will ever match. :/

I was watching a few of my videos on the flight from Madrid to Dublin last night and actually had a tear in my eye!!!!! I'm not just saying that either!!! I actually did!!! The guy beside me kept trying to look at me out of the corner of his eye, but luckily, i still had my sunglasses on, so it hopefully wasn't that obvious... Actually, i don't even care if it was!!!!

I'm truly gutted that the place is gone! :(:(:(:(

The message on the keyring box tipped me over the edge.. I sobbed! Some people may think it's sad but when it is part of your culture and not just a night out clubbing now and then it affects your life. When I went back and saw the building with the Space sign taken down and the flags gone it was heart breaking.

I wouldn't recommend watching the last set back just yet then. Currently listening/watching Cafe del Mar being played with tears in my eyes and a lump in my threat. God!!! Was such a special night ❤️

Im giving it a few weeks before I watch anything .. I cant cope with this feeling of emptiness :,(

Ah I’m so gutted I missed picking up the goody bag, didn't know a thing about it! We were there till early hours of this morning too, and bought our tickets off spotlight. Don’t suppose there’s anyone still around and heading down who fancies picking a couple up with my tickets? I would be the most eternally grateful! I live London/Kent/Glasgow… We had a two hour delay on our 0025 flight this morning, so ended up getting home at 6am and back up for work at 8am. At work now and it’s horrendous. Had the most amazing night though, best night I’ve ever had there. Was very special and feel privileged to of been there. Made it from 1030pm (1.5 hours in the queue) till the very end on the sunset terrace, and caught Carl Cox/Pepe’s farewell.

I think there's always been those flags around .. btw you can buy the posters for the space closing in the shop that sells space tops further up pdb . I got one hey are 2 euros .. and I picked up a load of flyers with the lineups on
 
I've just deactivated my Facebook account.... can't take the videos, pictures etc etc. And hate myself for not sticking it out longer in the line.
I've been torturing myself with them.
So happy it looked so amazing. But heartbroken it's all over... loads of tears from me too

Great effort! Would love to help but they stop dishing the out at 5pm and I'm out of here at 10.30am tomorrow. and you need the actual ticket they gave when you entered.

I'm so incredibly mad at myself for giving up. 8am and we were at the front of the queue. But we had been ther since 4:30 and where so so tired. Plus the 2 hours at the beginning of the night. I just judged it all wrong. I'm absolutely gutted.

Aw thanks anyway! We didn’t even get given one of the little tickets, but I think some people have managed to get the goody bags anyway just by showing their e-tickets, judging by the posts on fb. Wish I hadn't been such a zombie past couple of days!
