Solomun + 1

OK OK...... somebody must have left the after party by now! Any reports from the Sven & Solomun feast at Pacha last night.......

All I've seen is this picture posted by Resident Advisor!

ok so a bit more details of the night:
- solomun's warm up good, albeit no surprises in track selection
- sven's set very varied and also included some real techno bangers, for a while he played really hard, I don't think I've ever heard such 'hard' music in pacha - but I loved it.
- very busy of course and lots of island people who didn't want to miss out on that night
- went on until 8am

only slight downside is that the originally planned villa afters fell through. instead there were afters at tox 'only' - and without sven. at first we didn't want to go, but after breakfast and a few beers we thought we'd give it a shot...and it actually was pretty good. not that packed (the last time I went to an afters there it was as busy as at night, and packed afters is just not a thing for me), but a good crowd and solomun and hosh played some wicked tunes.
 
@stivi curious to know what you opinion was of this night versus Solomun and Sven on the terrace at Amnesia for Cocoon? Albeit the fact of Sven at Pacha alone is special, wondering which you preferred musically and vibe wise?

hmmmm hard to pick one, because I think both had great moments. the one at amnesia I thought was musically generally really really good and especially the morning hours with the daylight are stuck in my memories (solomun playing zora for example). then at pacha there was a huge moment when sven kicked off - the atmosphere was electric for a good while. and also hearing stuff like sven's signature afterhour track (the mfa - the difference it makes / superpitcher remix) at 7:30am in pacha was also special I thought.

from a clubber's point of view, I personally prefer amnesia terrace simply because I feel more comfy. I have my sweet spot where I always dance and where everything is simply perfect. that I don't have in pacha - but the beauty of pacha is to be a bit here, then a bit there etc.
