Solomun +1 @ Pacha 2017

How busy do we think the October 1st date will be? I went in early June last year and it was still rammed, is it the same deal that late in the season?

Just finished that set. Some real nice tracks, gonna be another great summer for him....great music floating around. I just hope he takes it easy on the partying this year......his liver is going to explode.

Haha did you see the video of him floating around where he was playing sono - keep control? Was a private party b2b set. He looked absolutely f***ed

Where you at these parties?
Only at the proper one that lasted until 8:30AM at a location kind of similar to Destino.
I found out the location of the private after party when I woke up around 3PM, but it felt weird to go at that time, I only like to go to after parties straight from the main event...
In any case, I was told that even though Solomun was there until 11PM he played maybe 10 tracks in 10 hours, as he was barely standing...

Are after parties always going on? Is it just word of mouth once the club closes?

He's usually on point when it's his timeslot, but all bets are off after he's done. I mean he never really gets sloppy, just goofy and wobbly. Love the guy, but man I hope he sleeps a lot during the week!

Does anyone really expect perfect mixing at 7AM in Pacha on a Monday morning? If you do either you (or the DJ) aren't wasted enough...

no, sorry, I can't agree on this.

while I don't mind it myself when people get wasted (or DJs), I've been to tons of parties that go on for hours (days) where the mixing is on point no matter how many hours have passed.

That's a fair challenge, I was generalising too much. I was referring more to some of the B2Bs I've experienced at that time.

For me it's all about tracks selection, and in the case of Solomun, I actually prefer him when he is wasted. That's when he plays funkier music and less techy.
At last years Cocoon closing after (at Benimussa), I remember there were many times when Sven wasn't even trying... It was fade out / fade in all the way, and everybody had a blast !
