Solomun +1 @ Pacha 2017

I am 100% doing that Solomun and Sven night this year..... It's earlier than it normally is! Len Faki (at Maceo) and Sven Vath at Pacha a few days apart. Got to hand it to them...

First couple of weeks in Sep seem to be popular dates on here:D

First couple weeks September this year are very very strong! With I'd booked instead of end June/start of August now! Still got some rather good events tho so cant complain

you don't know pacha well enough ;)

I've been told they are not or were never all owned by the same person/management but I find it funny how a lot of the Pacha clubs were all built in the same fashion. What i mean by that is that they all seemed to have little nooks or spots to find space or doorways and hallways that weren't necessarily secret but easy to get to one spot or another but not exactly advertised. It was like that in new york very much so and certainly in Ibiza, we used to call them hot routes. Man that new york club was a dump for the most part but it was a good one and I miss it.

they are all franchises so one doesn't have a lot to do with another.

I'm in pacha right now actually (start of season event for the industry) and I could show people a few corners, spots, nooks, tunnels, secret terraces and such. pacha is fantastic in this way :) I'm sure I still haven't seen it all myself

Back in the early 90s nick and sid from the Rock bar rented a room in pacha up stairs,, it had it own bar dj booth.it was a tiny little club in a club, definitely some of my best times in there..:)

I think the funky room evolved from there.. ill ask Vaughan in a few weeks... or if you see him there now stivi ask him..:)

Is it really that bad? I went in 2015 for Ame Aug 31 and last year for Mano Le Tough in Sept and both were very crowded but not that unbearable.
I went Solomon and Sven last year and Pacha was the busiest I've seen. That said you can always find somewhere... once you get to that somewhere :)

Agree. You can have been going for 10 years and still find a new little place where you haven't been before.

pachas dance floor is the worst when packed

But to the points above, all depends what you want. That is what I love about Pacha (yeah I know), you can almost have about 4 different type of nights depending on where you sit / stand. If you are totally in THE moment you can dance on the dancefloor and high-five Solomun, or you find a place on the many levels of the club - still have a good night, but just not in the pit.

Right I will be going Pacha for the first time this year and from what you say it is a very very confusing club to navigate! Any tips fro getting around and good bits to try find? What do you mean by different levels? Do these all overlook the main floor then?

search our website for an article called 'clubbing like a boss - pacha'. wrote it a while ago, but it's still valid.
