Sant Josep Town Council has launched a campaign to revise the entertainment of the town and has already met with some "surprises" as establishments that operate without any license.
As explained by the Deputy Mayor and Councillor of Interior, Paquita Ribas,
they are preparing several orders of closing.
"You can be licensed restaurant and coffee making concert,
but if you do not have permission to either one thing or another they to have to close
,"
said Ribas, who did not think there was "people who dared to work with no license ' . The councilor explained that there are several local affected and "not all beach clubs',

as some are not on the beach.

The councilor would not specify the number or the names of these premises,
but are trying to move fast to publicize the sooner this season and create a "deterrent effect.

"This week, the Leisure Association of Ibiza (Blue Marlin, Ushuaia, Bora Bora and DC-10) and the Association of nightclubs and discos de Balears (Pacha, Space, Amnesia, Privilege and Eden) accused each other of violations on schedules, noise and traffic counts.
Discotheques harshly criticized the City of Sant Josep on the grounds that the municipality is "touristed of illegal activities" and that is the one with more local defaulting

finally somebody did something against this cheeky roping off of a public beach and not letting anyone with supermarket drinks in sight.

does this also mean that their sound equipment is sealed as they must not function as a discoteca?

so that'll probably mean the end of real parties there. speakers only to inside of the restaurant, at living room volume..

The councilor said that besides not having permits, these bars organized massive beach parties, "without guaranteeing the safety of those attending and causing discomfort."

The closure orders have already been fulfilled by the three institutions.

As explained by the deputy mayor, the local police has made this season numerous inspections at the premises of the municipality to ensure that comply with the law.

"We asked the neighbors and traders because there was much talk of intrusion and things did not touch it," said Ribas, who added that has not been fined these premises because that case would be subject to further disciplinary proceedings.

Asked if they have not been profiting for a long time without permission, the deputy mayor stressed that they still had "good morning fifteen seasonal and can not do." "We have done what we could, first make inquiries, visits and assemble a dossier receives allegations, it took a month," said Ribas, who said that in principle "the fine is the close of business."
