There is a big group of us going over in Oct and am looking to book a decent, buzzy restaurant on the Saturday night (8th).
Kind of Roto/Bambuddha/Cova Santa vibes.
Would like to try somewhere different maybe - there are about 15 of us and we are a 40s crowd.
El Carnicero

Is there any news on Mikala, I've never been but it looks like it was a real nice place.
Google says it's closed.
If I'm not mistaken one the owners was dj Mikaela. Latest news on her activities:

They had some dj events in collaboration with cuts & wines that now moved to Underground. Next event is planned at the very end of this month:

The previous Mikaela restaurant is now a wood fire pizza restaurant. Prices wasn't too crazy. €15 for a pizza.

Pretty nuts about the 14m!

I've had to cut back on steaks - doctor's orders! - but will make an exception in October. Who does the best value entrecotes these days?

can pilot is still a good option, especially when in mid october the nights can already get a little chilly again. else I would have said balafia, which is a bit more expensive, but also way more charming than can pilot.

I just tried to book sunbeds at cbbc online.. Apparently all sunbed reservations now come with a bottle of champagne included for a minimum of 180 euros!! Can't book a bed on the beach without a bottle. Are you kidding me?

And what happens if you actually dont like Champagne? (I do, but just making a point)

I will do stivi, just tried for old times sake, never been for years. and yes digital2013, I don't drink champagne either, that is even more ridiculous. at least make it minimum spend instead of choosing my drink :/

for clarity: I love cala bassa as a beach. but since cbbc have taken it over I am only going off-season. it's become ridiculous what they've done with the place and how they're running it.

Chuleton de bue not fresh at el viejo gallo san an bay 1rst et last time visit too ,quiet far from hostal too ,not as good value as Es rebost de Can prat

Were in playa den bossa.now.
And the place we use is los rosales..
Nice breakfast 8 euros.
Maily frequented by spanish people.
Is that a good thing.
Well be returning later for a mixed grill which looks good.and a couple of pints 4.50 a pint.
Were happy with it.and its our goto place.
Quick service and reasonable prices.
