Savanahs - shite
2/5 :(
Sunset was pants also
Walked along there last night. I asked the girl at Savannah if there were any drinks or food deals. She arrogantly replied "You won't get that along here"
I just said thanks and walked off. Ended up with a mediocre meal at Kasbah, walked it off along towards and along part the harbour. Should have eaten along there. Rita's would have been nice, or a place called "bistro" or similar looked nice.
Massive note to self

savannah, kasbah... i mean, c'mon!!!
I know! Was feeling a bit non plus tbh. I never really had any intention of eating at Savannah, was just winding up the PR outside. Was killing time whilst daughter was at IR. could kick myself
Have done Sa Trinxa, Sa Trenka, chingurito pascal and a small snack/bar in Cala Martina which was surprisingly good.
Giving this a go tomorrow night

it's on the far left of the beach.
loud music. see, cala vadella was one of the few remaining 'quiet' beaches, now also has loud music. really disgusted by that

I so very nearly went to Cala Moli for my last day before remembering that was where Cathy Guetta had opened some glitzy beach club. Wasn't feeling up to seeing yet another beautiful natural beach taken over - has anyone been to see what it's actually like now ?

Go early, 8 ish...or try and book. Never had eats there, just late night beers and music.
Alhambra 1925 reserva 6.4 abv = €3.50 or Estrella Damm, possibly cheaper.
Never had the wine list.
Thanks DS
Just tried to book a table for 9pm via email and he says it's not possible. Just tried for earlier time if not then might turn up on spec

Rita's is great for lunch but they do get flys,, which dose my head in ,

To be honest the girl seating is sorted is a table , at 8pm for 10 with no min spend , Shame the food was shit

Any recommendations in San Antonio Bay that is child (ages 1&4) friendly for an evening meal? Never been with the kids before. What is Kumharas like?

Definitely have to try some these places you are talking about this year in september!

For my penny's worth I would recommend Sa Vida. Such good value for Ibiza town and the staff is sooo friendly. Last time i dragged 19 slightly drunk Brits with me to the place, which can't have neen the easiest to serve but were amazing. You can eat very well with about 40 Euros per head inc wine.

Random question.. are there any good restaurants in San Jordi / Sa Carroca area? We are staying in a villa near there and wondered if there was a place within walking distance.

Child friendly, but the food is overpriced and not great at all. Probably better to have a drink and eat somewhere else.

For snacks can balatera on the roundabout

Probably the best lomo sandwich on the island , think it's called a pipi
Think the Restutants ok also , locals place . Try it,

agree re sa vida - love it.

they aren´t gourmet places, but I still like these three:
- vinyl burger (--> burgers of course)
- es tanco pizzeria (--> pizzas)
- la manduca (--> they do some great milanesas)

they´re all very fairly priced and you get decent food. vinyl also has a great selection of beers
