RESISTANCE IBIZA [Sasha & Digweed] @ Privilege 2017

Renaissance just put a post up on Facebook saying Sasha and John are out of order playing for a party with a name sounding so similar to renaissance for a cool brand like ultra when they could have played as Renaissance 25 years anniversary.

Taken down now...
 
Is everybody assuming that S & D gonna play b2b? It doesn't say so on the flyer so I wouldn't say it is a given, right?

The artwork has their joint logo they've only used when playing together since the Social last Sept
 
And reading both their respective social media posts it would indicate they're playing together all dates (although it doesn't explicitly state that they are)

I never really thought Amnesia's competition was with Space but it seems like even though the nights may differ there will be some tough decisions for punters to decide between say a Cocoon night and a Resistance night and Hyte if still on Wednesday may taking a beating because of all this.

well I had said various times that privi had been in a downward spiral and that something needed to happen. and as you guessed right, without the closure of space (plus a few other important factors), this wouldn't have materialised.

as for the upgrades - that was a condition set by the people involved for even getting involved. we all know they were necessary.

as for amnesia I don't think a whole lot changes for them
 
I've just booked to come over for the opening just to see them. Been dying to see S&D together since I missed out on the Social last year. Went to see them on their last b2b tour however many years ago, everytime I've seen them they destroy me.
 
You're in for a great time people. I remember waiting for hours to get into their Northern Exposure tour night at cream in the 90s. One of the greatest nights out I've ever had

You're lucky to have experienced that. The Northern exposure series is so classic and i own em all. Would love both of em to sign a CD cover after experiencing the performance in Ibiza of all places, maybe I'll extend my trip:confused:
 
Northern exposure was Great for home listening but out and on the dance floor it was shite.and I saw it twice.. they hardly had two off days..
 
Just scooped up my ticket for the 29th of August, this is going to be epic! I've been wanting to see these two guys together for a long time now.
