Pure Carl Cox Ibiza 2017

It kind of killed it for me when he started talking about himself in the third person quite a lot. "Carl Cox doing what Carl Cox does best" etc

Good dj but hasn't been a life changer for me. Not trying to piss his fans off just saying.

I seen Carl Cox many times but the night he was closing his revolution party at space was unreal and like no other. During his marathon set he mixed everything you can think of techno, house, tech-house, electronica with a perfect flow. The energy of the crowd was unreal too. Out of all the parties I attended (elrow, warriors, cocoon, paradise) that crowd was the craziest that night.

I just hope that he will be playing a longer set again and that privilege will be packed with his fans again so I can experience that special vibe again!

Btw just the thought that privilege sound system will be tuned by the same guy from space is giving me a boner :D

I liked coxy in 2007 -2009 not much of a fan now...he comes across a bit cocky in interviews too sometimes....space was more than just him and pepe

yes u sound more clever .
i ll quit posting/Teasing people (in this topic, wot do u expect? :D) & wait for Ibiza experience as its the most important thing, than killing time at office blahblahing about ibiza ...
Craig72, when we ll meet u may tell to all the Forum how" badass" i am

I can waitfor for the feedbacks for @Nobbie Q end july for these parties (transition to be back to the topic)

Lol oh shit, don't bring me into this!

Last two times I've seen Cox (Ultra Music Fest Korea and earlier in Toronto) he's been okay, but he was one of the first DJs I saw in my heyday, spinning on three vinyls and it was so good that day. I was sober too!

The July 18th date with Moudaber should be really good as there's a strong chance of em going B2B. Their B2B last year at Space was really good from the recording, so here's hoping for a similar vibe

sorry to use your pseudo :p for the transition

Can remember Craig David and Sean Paul the first time round.. repackage, sell them back, the consumers are not so,fussy these days..

Nothing has changed. How many times have we seen popstars reinvent themselves since the 50s? Countless. This is not a new phenomena. Fickle to believe it is

Popstars... there you have it,we're not exactly talking about George Michael here are we? suppose that's where we're at? Do you think maybe they could repackage Danes bowers,I know it's a long shot, seeing that he isint with jordan anymore. But maybe if they fix him up with someone from geordie shore,or Towie, maybe, just maybe ,it's a goer...?

I'll speak to the producers and see what they think! ;)

Joking aside, yes of course these are popstars. It's Ibiza Rocks. What were people expecting?
Jose Padilla B2B Kenneth Bager B2B Trentmoller at Ibiza Rocks - strictly over 40s only - Sssssssh! TBA - I shouldn't be leaking this info

quality live music with universal appeal not some naff radio 1-style roadshow in the sun

You might be lucky with a few dates a season. Think you're being overly optimistic though. When was the last year IR's programming appealed to you?

This is generational again.
Easy - and futile - for us to dismiss these acts as "shit". It's what the kids like. It's what make IR money.

If we were to like it, then they wouldn't by default.

McRackin's review suggested that LCD sounded amazing there and Madness the year before

chemical brothers, underworld doing live stuff there would be amazing along with a few guitar bands like Midlake, Tame Impala, singers like St Vincent - maybe cool soul like michael kiwanaka, some spanish music too y'know to show it's not an English colony) has Grace Jones performed? - I think she did KU back in the day - would be awesome

but reggaeton, r&b, dancehall for me is just the wrong kind of testosterone - and attracts the wrong people, go elsewhere, leave this gentle island alone

Nothing.

Jose padilla, now we're talking. But I'm a principled man. So I'll catch him at roof top nine in the bay,and pay an extortionate price for a cocktail there instead...
the price is cheap at rooftop 9 5-7€ cocktail such as Mojito 7€, Strawberri daiquiri is 5€ (15€ in Mambo ) unless they increase (staff guy told me, enjoy the drinks ,as they may increase summer 17 & view some review in their fb page that a lot of things change since begin of summer 16) it since closing..

WOW.... nothing like a bit of casual racism!!

No need for that on here or anywhere else for that matter!
an unfortunate choice of words - intended more I think to sound 'street' than as a slur but it's in the hands of the management now.

In Reference to @FallenangelGparsons post, I know im late to the party and i dont mean to pile on but not OK regardless of cultural difference or what is meant to come across. It's just not necessary especially in forum among people you aren't familiar with
