Coxy & co spotted wearing 'Ibiza 2017' t shirts at Tobacco Docks today and theres a fb page been set up which is CC Ibiza 2017 related (not sure if official or not!)
Also wondered if this was genuine, but it has been shared by guys on my fb who have worked for Music Is Revolution running their guestlists the past few years...

Fair enough, but he did say he was slowing down a bit. If he's having his own night (wherever), that's hardly taking it easy?

He always said he'll be doing a few dates in Ibiza. People just assumed it will be as a guest at circo, music on, etc...
I don't think this will be a full summer residency. Or maybe...

I not sure why this is coming as such a surprise 
. From the numerous interviews I've seen and read from him across the past few months, I'm sure he mentioned both being a guest at certain nights (not mentioned by name but assuming Circo, Music On etc) but I'm also sure he said he was planning on doing a few pop up night of his own.
I do not believe this will be a full summer residency as he has repeatedly said he will not be doing that again. I would assume this will be a few nights throughout the summer at somewhere like Benimussa or even Privlege - both venues that he is more than capable of filling! Either way IMO it's great news for Ibiza for 2017.

PURE was the name of Carl Cox' own new Festivals in Melbourne and Sydney in 2016. So maybe he is thinking about doing an Ibiza edition of Pure festival, open air, for 2-3 days in the summer?

im not a big Carl cox fan so not bothered if he's back or not but having closed his revolution night and spoke about slowing down I think a better fit would be a daytime funk and soul party at a beach bar. Just like he used to do at sands for his birthday. Will never happen though as it doesn't create a brand to take on tour during winter
