*** Police at Amnesia (right now) ***

€2 million found in a club like amnesia doesn't sound like a stretch of the imagination....surely they can take that in a week at high season?

"the money was just resting in my account!"

I don't know about anyone else, but i'm always leaving a spare few million lying about the place by accident...

If the stack is made out of 50's, it is probably gonna be like 4 meters high. Maybe the money was used as stairwell support in the Terraza. Those stairs looked mighty rusty...

But in all honesty, how much revenue is Amnesia generating on a good night: 500k?? 800k?? And they never bring that money to the bank??

Capacity of the club is 5000, so you can assume that they do EUR 200K in door fees.

Average 40 euros per person on drink? Some drink loads others drink nothing - another 200k?

The 2 million must be half of Marco Carolas residency fee

How long has this Ferrer guy owned Amnesia?!??!

From what it looks like, he's possibly sealed its fate, and all for his own pure greed!!!

I'm purely speculating here, but as with most high-profile people who are naughty with their taxes - assuming they have no previous convictions - unlikely they'll get jailtime. It'll just be suspended. They'll no doubt be forced to pay what they owe as part of that "deal". And you would assume they have the ability to do so

The impact of Amnesia

The news of the operation of the Civil Guard and the Tax Agency in Amnesia published Tuesday in diariodeibiza.es on the ground and the data were knowing eyedropper, had about 110,000 visits on the web, according to my morning walk by Google Analytics, and all that was published on Wednesday [yesterday for you to read it] takes the same path.

That figure represented 63% of traffic portal Diario de Ibiza.
As the news spread like the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton by social networks (shared only it had 4,500 Facebook) most, 72% read it through mobile phone.

Furthermore, it was consulted over a hundred countries on five continents, first in Spain, but also in the UK, USA, Italy, Germany, France and Argentina, in that order, and came to such exotic places as Mauritius, Curacao, Jamaica, Aruba, Cambodia and Benin, to name a few. It was read more in Barcelona and Madrid in Ibiza and one from London arrived more than 1,200 visits.

All these figures give a measure of the impact of the brand Amnesia Ibiza and brand in the world.

A huge impact when compared to the latest accounts that the company that operates the club deposited in the Commercial Register in 2011.

How much can Amnesia generate ?

In that year he declared an income of 13.1 million

and a profit of only 18,822 euros :lol:
