Due to unforeseen circumstances Ibiza Rocks has had to change the venue for the Primal Scream show on Tuesday 29th Aug. It will now take place at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, not Pikes Ibiza. All tickets will still be valid for the show at Ibiza Rocks Hotel. Doors open at 7pm and curfew will be 11pm. All online ticket holders will also gain access to the official Afterparty that will still be taking place at Pikes Hotel from 11pm - 5am with justin robertson and Rock Nights.

Diana Gomez
at Pikes Hotel, Ibiza​

Pikes Hotel is proud to announce the upcoming exhibition of celebrity portrait photographer Diana Gomez opening on August 24th 2017.

FREE WOMEN is a feminist-driven and auto-biographical show consisting of life-size portraits and outdoor installations inspired by Diana's charismatic, colourful and passionate world. Taking over the grounds, swimming pool and terrace of the Pikes Hotel, FREE WOMEN is an ode to freedom of expression, to be comfortable in your own skin.

Each photograph is an idealised image of key episodes of Diana's life, altering the surroundings, adding light to each expression. Pikes Hotel has an evocative history as the playground for the music elite providing a beautifully reflective and thought-provoking setting for Diana Gomez powerful and upbeat work.

FREE WOMEN will run alongside a series of events hosted at Pikes Hotel, including Diana Gomez's live photo shoot on August 27th and regular DJ residencies.

Limited edition copies of some of the key portraits in the exhibition will be available to buy.

FREE WOMEN is curated by Mia Pfeifer and produced by Dominique Aizpurua.

Guests will include top VIP clients, celebrities, stylists, models and editors from magazines in the UK and Europe. We expect a high level of social media on Instagram & Facebook, and coverage from international and UK publications.

The exhibition will include some of Diana's most famous celebrity portraits, including Taylor Swift, Jade Jager, Courtney Love, Chelsea Tyler, Caroline Vreeland, Rihanna, Portia Freeman, Yasmin Mills, Selena Gomez, Pips Taylor, Laura Pradelska, Sshh, Rosario Dawson, Zara Martin, Shingai Shoniwa, Caroline Flack, Ana Matronic, Jamie Winstone, Daisy Lowe, Gizzi Erskine, amongst others.

BIOGRAPHY - DIANA GOMEZ ​

Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela and developing her photographic career in London for the last 16 years. Diana grew up surrounded by colour and nature in a big developing city. Influenced by great filmmakers and her love for humanity, people, nature, music and narratives, Diana’s beautifully lit and colourful images capture a sense of optimism, power and beauty that portrays her sitters in a confident and engaging way.

Her editorial clients include Harpers Bazaar, L’Officiel, Marie Claire, The Sunday Times Style, Emmy Magazine, Hunger, You , Grazia, ES Magazine. Her advertising clients include Nike, Adidas, Coca Cola, Arcadia Group, River Island, EMI, Universal, Lancôme, BAFTA, The Olivier Awards, Coca Cola, Virgin, Warner Brothers, Atlantic Records, and many more. Diana has photographed many personalities in the music, art and film world including Rihanna, Courtney Love, Will.I.Am, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Caroline Vreeland, Rosario Dawson, Grayson Perry, Virginia Bates, amongst others.

Her charity work includes contributions to organisations such as Shine On Sierra Leone, Cash & Rocket, LdNy Foundation, Wie Network, The United Nations, amongst others. Diana lives and works between London and LA.

he's only coming over for one-offs, sadly... always a pleasure to listen his sessions, not the usual pumpumpum and one hour later still pumpumpum-pish that's played almost everywhere!
 
How does entry to pikes work do you have to buy tickets in advance? Want to check out rock nights on the Tuesday when I am there. Anyone been before?

afterwards we enjoyed the san bartolome fireworks from the terrace before heading to freddie's for the afterparty hosted by DIY thursdays with jon sutcliffe djing and the duo dolls playing live!
