For the record! I f**king love her! She's totally taking the pi_ss out of every EDM DJ there is and proving that the "art" of a EDM DJ is track selection and pressing play on a pre recorded track. I'd actually go one step further and say she is a better "DJ" than 99% of the EDM DJs as she even mixes two CDs. I kid you not..... had it confirmed that she can actually mix/merge/fade two CDs in Amnesia! Do you really think AxwellIngresso etc mix on a Wednesday? Not a chance...... the whole thing is pre-recorded most weeks....
 
Would rather watch Paris Hilton than Hardwell, Aviici, Martin Garax, Guetta put together!

Dunno why people give her such a hard time, she obviously doesn't appeal to the majority of us dance musc fans, but then again, it is a gay party that she plays at, and the gays love that type of thing (so I've heard), and she seems to pack out the main room every week

Well you can also find a lot of us gays at Cocoon, MusicON and other such nights. But yes, a number of us do like this type of thing. Mainly because we know how to take the piss out of ourselves too! :)

Haha! Its not like she is dj'ing at Cocoon or Music On though, she playing a predominantly a pop music/commercial dance event (which covers you in foam!) so I don't see the hate, its not like you go to these events for the music anyway, if she started playing at Circoloco then I can understand the hate lol

And the crowd she attracts.
Only a small mionority knows how to take the piss out of themselves. The majority takes this seriously.
And this people congest other places and disturb the vibe in other places as they are not as seen on TV.

If Paris can build a successful career out of sucking a cock badly on a handheld amateur video, my guess is a few people bitching about on an internet forum won't really phase or derail her.

I really do not understand people's obsessive loathing of her. I bet nobody in DC10 on Monday gave a crap about her being there. I bet they just enjoyed themselves.

She thrives on any publicity. If you (and the industry) apparently dislike her so much the best thing you can do is not mention her. Not engage her propaganda machine. Because that's what is it. And like it or not, she does it very well!

An article here, a photo there = not part of the cure, but part of the disease! These people just don't do negative publicity. They are in the business of publicity only.

Fully agreed. The only way I couldn't agree would be if her having a night at Amnesia is taking away from another party that could be there and we're therefore missing out on. But it's not as if Ibiza is struggling for good parties. In fact, it seems as though there's too many! Take away Paris Hilton's night and what are Amnesia going to do, put another techno night in its place? They've got three already. I for one welcome Paris Hilton's party as it means I can definitely scratch Saturday at Amnesia off my potential options, slightly reduces the agony of choice.

She’s also close pals with DJ Enzo, one of Traktor’s top reps, and is pushing to make herself better all the time. That takes guts, and a level of introspection and contemplation very few in the media and beyond seems to give her credit for.

Look, I get it. She’s rich, and had a rich girl’s way of coming into her current position as a resident of Amnesia.

But eventually you’re either going to have to accept that deep down, she’s just a young woman who’s trying to figure out what she wants in life – which isn’t easy for anyone, even a rich kid – or shut the f*** up about it and find something else to moan about it.

Hell, we stopped caring ages ago.
