Ocean Beach

We got a bed with 300 euro min spend on a wed. I just want to see what all the fuss is about and figured I'd go big at least once at a dayclub. Cant really justify a table Blue Marlin, Destino, or Ushuia so this was the next best thing. I figure some food and a few jugs of sangria will eat that 300 euro up pretty quickly.

Not sure what you mean normal bar.

The prices are the same regardless unless you mean the price of drinks at the bar that is outside the pool area and effectively not in the club and and has a big fence up so you can see inside. That is cheaper than the main club but only worth to chill for a few drinks.

I have the 2015 price list and it's the same regardless if your in VIP beds, garden, jacuzzi or just up at the covered bar area on the stools from my 5 experiences over the last 2 years.
 
I went at the beginning of may. Paid €50 for a pool side bed (plus a refundable €20 for 2 towels). This €50 could be used as credit to buy drinks and food. Id imagine the price for this now has skyrocketed for the peak season.

I didnt think i would like the place as im a bit of an old schooler and prefered the likes of Kanya back in the day when things werent quite as polished, but I actually had a good day there with the missus.

However the place was comfortably busy... Ive seen pics from the peak season and it looks far too busy to enjoy the place like I did.

Remember on another thread people saying they get one.

Wow.. the criticism some people receive on here for enjoying themselves in a different way to others is beyond a joke.

Life of Rye might like OBC, no need for the snide comments. Let him get on with enjoying himself and you get on with what you enjoy doing!

And what if it is his idea of a good time? He is harming nobody and last time I checked, the purpose of a holiday is to enjoy yourself, whether that be at Ocean or sitting in a cave in the North, as long as he/you are having fun and not offending others then what is your problem?

Anyone who fetishises in celebrity and reality tv is open to ridicule. It doesn't matter who the f*** it is.

And regarding my post,there isn't anything snide about it. He has quite clearly stated on these forums before, that has a lot of respect for the 'big fellas' at OBC,and that he takes lollipops to night club's so he doesn't have to buy a drink.

My post is just an observation,that he probably won't be looking at the drinks list...

That's easy for you to say. You would never be seen in OBC. I would buy him one these and give him a big kiss - or a warm san miguel at the ship in the west end,and show him what daytime drinking used to be all about...Ed-1000x600.jpg
