this looks terrible
mmmm ... so any development is good development ? I think Dubai has proved that definitely isn't the case![]()
That's one of the most disgusting displays of human behaviour I've seen in a very long time. I'm usually a very tolerant person but it makes me feel physically sick. There's nothing avant garde, wild or even debauched about any of it either .. it's just a bunch of himbos and bimbos with no sense of values who've been persuaded that it's fun to throw champagne around.
Glad I don't spend my days 'turning' those champagne bottles or learning how to perfect the art of post-fermentation débouchage only to see dimwits spraying it everywhere as a party game. Stupid tw@ts. And I think the motor racing lot are equally stupid and pathetic for spraying it around off the podium. What a load of w@nkers.
amenWould I be inclined to go to this venue...no.
However, as has been said many times before Ibiza is a mix a different personalities etc. etc.
I am not sure the the prolonged bashing of this venue and it clientele (by some folks who have not even been) is useful. If people want to go and pose, make asses of themselves, flash their boobies & knobs etc so be it, let them get on with it. At the end of the day, this venue will cater for a certain punter and if you don't want to be associated with it, don't go. simple. At least they will be congregated in one place.
In addition, here we have money (wherever it may have come from) being invested in San Antonia during not the best of economic times providing jobs for the construction industry as well as more permanent (or at least seasonal) jobs and the knock for suppliers etc. and on this basis I hope that the project turns out to be successful.
I personally still love Ibiza but it isn't even the same place I went to in 2008, the crowd have changed dramatically in that time alone so I dread to think how it must be for people who have lived through the whole scene.
Maybe the crowd is in fact the same as 2008 but you only noticed a "change" as you have become more familiar with the place. Maybe you have had particularly good times at certain visits that haven't been replicated so have picked up on certain characteristics to form this view. Maybe you are just going to the wrong places. At the end of the day, life changes, people change, you change - that is the way things go.
There have always been people in Ibiza that I would not desire to socialise with, likewise there have always been others that I have had the best times of my life with - that has not changed over my 16 years visiting.
