Nastydirtysexmusic on terrace for We Love Sundays

I saw them a few years ago when it was Home @ Space on Sundays and yes it was everything you'd expect from them and more :D Don't think Darren Hughes is really going down the road of booking that sound for the terrace anymore tho :?

As much as I love NDSM, MAW would have to be my first choice for an afternoon session on the terrace

Yeah I agree. NDSM are great for dirrrrty, bassline kinda music, but not the kind of happy, jumpy music that I'd like to hear on the terrace

I've never seen a dj set from GA but last year I saw a live set from them....
35EUR for an 45min concert!!What a shit!!

I got bored of GA DJ sets a couple of years ago, heard a live set last summer and it was shit

...but they do get the place jumping...heard them twice last year and on one occasion i have never seen the terrace go off as much!

On the flip side I have seen smoking jo play the terrace millions of times and 99% of them have been absolute dogshite......REALLY don't rate her.

indeed!
and isn't that what it's all about when dealing with Space terrace on an afternoon sunday session? ;)

to be fair - Groove Armada live at T In The Park last year was immense - really tight show

Groove Armada dj-ing at WLS closing - average

It would be a shame if that was the case because the great thing about the terrace was that it built up to a climax at midnight and then it was over, whereas other clubs, including the main room, just get progressively messier and the crowds just sort of trickle away towards the end. The planes will also be missed.

My thoughts too.

Ditto... and just being outside in the bar area with the sun shining down thru the club. Anyone who thinks that Space will improve just because it's gonna have a louder sound system now that it has a roof, is just in denial. ALTHOUGH i will still go along with an open mind and am hoping to be proved wrong.

At the end of the day we can't do anything about Space having a roof or not. As far as I'm aware if they hadn't roofed the terrace then it would have closed down once and for all due to sound restrictions so we either get on with the terrace being roofed or not at all.
