Naked sunbathing or skinny dipping

I’ve never been to es cavallet, sounds like it’s much more nudist friendly than salinas, is this the case? I’m staying close to salinas so will visit but last time there was only a tiny pocket of nude bathers to the right of sa trinxa if looking out to sea, I joined but defo felt a bit like a weirdo. In the end I found a quiet area on the rocky areas past sa trinxa completely alone which was nice!

Naked sunbathing is another "victim" of the new generations of Ibiza'a visitors.
Even the more secluded and more private calas are being taking over by textiles.
You can always find spots but soon they get discovered too LOL

Cala Saladeta was always a nudist beach like the small beach playa Escondida at Cala Conta.

Almost all nude at es cavallet if you hit the right area.

Northern end of Aigues Blanques is also usually naturalist.

In general, in order to maintain these spots, one has to strip bare and take one for the team.

I might start convincing Americans on r/ibiza that au naturelle is mandatory on Ibiza beaches. Americans can be made to believe anything about Europe.

Im not worried about taking one for the team, ive done it on a few occasions and sometimes it can start a chain reaction but others your just left like the weirdo on the beach 😂

In 2022 I was in the Bella Roca hotel (Es Pujols) and my room faced the small nude beach opposite, about 100m away - very handy to walk to and back, rather than having to navigate dodgy rocks to find an isolated cove!

The beaches are the two smaller yellow ones (Raco), and the eastern side of the larger one above. The bottom one is the edge of the main Es Pujols beach where nudity is limited but have seen a few bods basking by the fence.

Have to say the Raco beach/bay is very sandy, sheltered and shallow so gets very warm even in September, although mugging is rife so be careful. They love a bit of cheese or ham in your baguettes, those seagulls.

Spent the day on my local nude beach yesterday, shame there’s only a handful of decent days a year as it needs to be low tide and preferably hot 😂. Stunning day tho, very relaxed and not a single human most of the day ☺️

Is that the UK? I was on Brighton's nude beach last week, about 50+ on but wasn't there to sunbathe - was making my way back to the centre from the end of the Volk's railway. Pity the beach is all pebbly, would be superb if it were sand like Bournemouth/Studland!

It’s Guernsey in the Channel Islands, it’s our only nude beach and it’s tucked well away on a cliff path 30 mins hike from any car park and down about 200 steps, and people still moan about it being allowed 😂 very old fashioned is guernsey. Stunning beach tho, very very lucky. Yeah u need the sand a, can’t relax on rocks!

Ha! Returning from regular trips to Jersey there's often a tourist board official at the airport asking about the holiday and how Jersey was; always give it 9/10 but add that if one part of their brilliant (and accessible) beaches was designated costume-free it would boost tourism no end!!
That's one of two things Jersey lacks, that and an after-hours club in the capital. There's only one open during the week, St James, and that's bloody karaoke-infested.

Will be back in Guernsey next year for their Pride.

Haha yes we have 1 more than jersey at least 😂. Guernseys nightlife is awful, there was a bit of a scene wen I was younger but i feel for the kids now, there’s only a couple of clubs and it’s pretty much pop music with commercial dance. Jersey actually has some decent nights.
When you come to Guernsey I can show you the beach on the map if you’d like, just send me a message, it’s a stunning place and the cliff walk is also stunning, 16 miles of peace and quiet in nature!

Nice beach ... reminds me of one near me in Thurlestone (Devon) which is pretty easy to reach (about 10 mins walk from the car through the golf course - beware of flying balls 😏😂). It gets busy in Summer though and there's often groups of families with young kids so I tend to go to others on my paddleboard that can't be reached by land - there are 8 of them along a 2km stretch of coast. I empathize, the weather is very fickle in the English Channel so you take your chances when you can !!

In the whole area it's only really Burgh Island that's full of people coming and going. Since they diverted the coast path above it's so quiet you can happily paddle out round the rocks and along the coast au naturel if the wind is down. Spent Thursday with at least a mile to myself (give or take a few cows grazing on the clifftops 😂) .. making the most of it before the schools break up and the population trebles. There's always enough sand even when it's high tide and I never get bored. Just wish the conditions were perfect more regularly !!

To be fair, if you didn't want to be on the front page of the Blackpool Herald, the midpoint between the ice cream van and the donkey rides should probably have been avoided:lol:
