Another drug-related death of a British at that madhouse called Piscis Park!

It baffles me after all that goes on in this 'hotel' how it continues to remain open and is not shut down by the authorities. Is that 1 death from balconing and 1 from drugs, just this year alone? And when I say year, I mean the 3 weeks the hotel has been open. Never mind the constant robberies and other issues that go on...

It's not a great place to stay either!

- 18 year old british girl died this morning. according to her friends, she took mdma.
- 35 year old italian guy in intensive care. apparently he took around 40 pills.

40 pills?! 40? 4-0??????? I don't understand this behaviour!!!! My serotonin levels are depleted after about 6 after 2 nights on the trot!

40??? f***ing hell, what's wrong with a wee half for a laugh. 2 max on a night for me, even half when I get in and another half a couple hours later is fine and dandy.

It's very likely, though, if she was on MD and collapsed - especially if she'd been drinking too (nothing said about that). Think her mates confirmed what she'd had. Very sad indeed, but surprised there aren't more tbh.

When i was over the people was taking stupid amounts. 2 - 3 pills a night. Surley ones enough. When i took one in 2011 it blew my head off for 5 hours and didnt need nout else. Didnt like the comedown so didnt touch one again.

Even when i saw people on them this year they just looked tripped out, no smiles, sweating gallons. As apposed to piss heads laughing and joking and doing more dancing

After having €5 pints of vodka red bull that does enough damage. Waste of a life

but surprised there aren't more tbh.
As quick look at the relative toxicity of MDMA compared to other drugs, both legal and illegal might make you less surprised.

I don't think we should make any assumptions about what happened to the poor kid, especially on the basis of a report in a grotty rag like The Mail, which seems to have used the story as another excuse to print salacious pictures of a young girl. Regardless of what was the actual cause, it will go down as an ecstasy death in the public's mind, just like Leah Betts did (despite the fact it was her huge intake of water that killed her in the mistaken believe this was the right thing to do). It just perpetuates the dangerous ignorance surrounding drugs in general, which people are going to take anyway, be they legal or otherwise.

I'm well aware of the toxicity issues surrounding MD. Also aware of the fact many younguns do it for the first time over there and whilst there are some who research things thoroughly before taking risks (in all walks of life), others jump in at the deep end and see how things play out. Especially when young. As to Leah Betts, it may have been her subsequent choices which led to her demise, but the point is that bouncing around off your head on drugs you (likely) haven't tried much before (if at all) is inherently risky and her water intake wouldn't have been an issue had she not taken E. Saying water killed her is a bit like saying jumping off the balcony killed the proverbial tripping guy on Acid and the drugs had nothing to do with that !

In any case, very few kids collapse and die at parties without an aggravating factor (including drinking too much) and whichever way you look at it I'm still surprised the numbers are not higher with what really goes on.
