Losing that beer belly in time for Ibiza

Anyone still at it?

Operation Moob has started this week for me. Already lost 4lbs in 4 days by using an iphone calorie counting app and cycling my knuts off.

Any success stories?

Using your I-Phone to loose weight...bet Kirk didn't think of that one when he was holding his tri-corder in the 60's.

Try this one. Mount a bar in a doorway and hang upside down to jerk off 4 times a day. The jerking off wont do much but getting onto the bar and the time it takes to get up and get off will burn lots of calories. You'll have a flat stomach and a slimy chin in no time.

Really, getting a flat stomach is not difficult.

Breakfast: one Oatmeal packet. 9am one piece of whole fruit. 11 am 800 to 1100 callores. 1pm and 3pm...again, one piece of fruit (or half of a bannana), 1700 800 to 1100 calories. Work out at least 40 minutes a day.

But most importantly, never get old.

I wouldn't take any iphone app calorie counter as gospel mate. The amount of calories you burn is dependant on a lot of different variables that the apps don't take into consideration. If you've lost weight though that's good going for you.

I managed to get rid of mine before my holiday in mid june, slacked in the cardio department since being back but kept up with 45 min weight sessions, a 10k run and a little swim everyday this week so should be back to my best in no time.

Jerk off 4 times in a day? I am not capable of that anymore I am afraid.

I used to eat pizza once per week until I found out I was allergic to dairy products and wheat. I still eat burgers but without the bun and the chips.
Why do ask, did you want to take me out to dinner?

The target weight to fight on Sunday was 11st 1lb, I hit 11st 0lb today (from 11st 12lb). I think I could probably get down to Featherweight (10st 5 lb) if I really tried.

Unfortunetley I can't fight Sunday due to a torn rotator cuff but I will be looking good for Ibiza on the 20th (if you are madly into skinny ginger blokes)

Do you box then Hally? I used to go boxing but never fought, I got my rib broke sparring nd it never recovered :( I loved it to, lost 2.5 stone in 3 months 8O I would go now but doing nights to pay for going college to re-train so cant
I went on a mad detox in june no beer and lst 11lbs, then fell off the rails and got battered and ate crap every week through july so went to ibiza fat and saw only 3 men fatter then me! I have 9 months and 1 week till I go again and neeeed to shift about 3 stone :spank:
I just love to eat chips, cheese, burgers, pizza kebab and cant often go a week without beer. I started cycling to college today but its only twice a week, im joining the gym there tomorrow so I am determined to be at least slim for June as I will be going again in July. Dont think I will ever achieve a 6 pack though, like eating too much 8)

I used to box when I was (a lot) younger. Still do a bit but mainly train in Mixed Martial Arts now.

You double hard bastard yee!! :) Certainly keeps you active, the sparring keeps you fit as, Wish I had the time these days(never ending excuse) :(

I am many things but double hard isn't one of them. It does keep you very fit, very demanding sport. I am 36 now so I reckon I have 6 or 7 years left so want to make the most of them.

Did some Muay Thai & Karate - even did some Karate sparring competitions back in the day but stopped it all when the training demands shot up to 6 nights a week 2.5hours a night ! Couldn't fit it all in with a job, and was hobbling around with blisters on the soles of my feet the size of grapes which had to be popped to get my shoes back on !

Discovered that watersports are a much more manageable occupation for a man of ageing years :).. do you ever go to Ten-80, Hally ? I'm a member there ;)
