Last Christmas....

After lots of hard work and daunting interviews Ben got the job he wanted and is very happy 8)

I heard that apparently, providing he keeps his mind on the role, and continues to put the hours in, his boss has earmarked him for a third star for his namebadge ;)

My year has been quite good.

Done lots of things with friends which has made me realise how important friends are and its not all about having a boyfriend or being in a relationship. Was my first year single this year so was a bit of a hard time for me - at times - only because everyone else I know is so loved up. But hey it did me good.

Lots of crazy drunken nights out, easter weekend being a great one, finally went to my first festival - V - absolutely loved it. Already have camping tickets to go back next year!

First time to Ibiza - wow what a holiday - cant wait to go back next year!

Another great holiday to Malia which I was umming and ahhing about, bit tacky, wouldnt be as good as Ibiza and had not been away with my friend I went with before, would we get on, would we be harrassed by 18-30s etc but it turned out to be one of the best hols I have had. I made a life long friend out of going with Tasha and she will always be around for me which is great. Met a great group of people out there including someone very lovely and even though its still early days (3 months now), its been fun so far and I hope we have more fun to look forward to together. So it was one of those classic things that you dont look forward to turning out to actually being 1 of the great times ever.

And last weekend was spent in Bath - lovely place - with the said special person which was fab.

Even though I am suffering today after the xmas party last night, I am looking forward to 2007.

As most other people on here said they made some great friends along the way of 2006. I can say the same. And look forward to making more.

Another memory just popped up! The bus to Egg! (After I'd had a little snooze in The Cross!)

Oh yeah! Brilliant! That was pure Buckley at his best!

I have just remembered the HUGE marathon we did that weekend that carried on with drinking in SoS beside families having sunday lunch, Big Chill Bar, some obscure warehouse place and The Light - where Buckley got lost going to the loos!

lots of highs and lows for me too this year, but overall it's been fantastic, despite not being at uni any more

Highs: 2 trips to ibiza, new friends + better friends + the same friends + old friends returning, getting promoted and other successes at work, my dad's engagement, lots and lots more clubbing than 2005 as I'm no longer a student, getting better looking every day, berlin, frankfurt (was that 2006? I can't remember), starting to pay off debts, stopping smoking, grandmother recovering, my tom ford sunnies 8)

Lows: Arguments & subsequent souring of relationship between me and one of my best friends after we moved in together, still being untidy, feeling I'm not doing any work when I should be, grandmother getting very ill, continuing to be single :spank: , turning 23 8O

Overall not bad - life ain't perfect at the moment but it's all coming together slowly as debts get paid off, my experience and pay goes up and my future gets planned (travelling for 9 months next year = 8) 8) = best idea I've had all week  )

I had another great year, as we say in spanish, subidón subidón

I am working hard but not doing that silly amount of extra hours I did in 2005. In few weeks I'll be back to my "official" office after two years in a subsidiary company, I'm very happy with it.
Pep left the advertising agency on summer '05 and opened a small studio on autumm '05. He is working really hard but loving every minute of it, I don't see him as much as I would like but at least he is happy (when he was in the adv agency he worked same hours but he wasn't very inspired), and he is starting to have regular incomes which is a success. He is also successing in his new photographer career so I'm a very proud girlfriend.
And of course, I can't be more in love with him
I travelled lots, had lots of long weekends and I lived in a bike for a while, which was the most exciting, inspiring and intense holidays of my life, we are already planning next summer road trip (Croacia? North Cape? Greece? who knows)
My two london trips deserve a mention cos I never have the opportunity to socialise with spotlighters, so puting faces to few of you was great ;)
I had few choosen nights that summed up all the expectations and lots others that weren't choosed but great aswell.
Barça won the Champions which made me cry
In general the last years have been great and each one better than the previous, we have lots of plans for this year and it looks like it's going to be another big one, I tell you same time next year ;)

Eh Sil? No matter how many hours you did on the days you were in, surely you concede that 250 days off you had pushed the the work/play scale in your favour?

I don't know if that's what you say, but last summer I could do three months in a row off thanks to my extra hours. I thought with 5 weeks was more than enough

This time last year i had just split with Lianne, had never had a mix for about 3 years had revived my clubbing career and had a possible good career ahead of me.

Now: I have created my own club night HowCleanIsYourHouse, have taken my night and DJ'ed at some amazing places including Pacha(london) Es Paradise, Plastik, Orange Corner, Meet bar, Pulse, and residency at Sugar. 2006 has been a busy year and 2007 sees plents more healthy bookings.

2006 also saw me get promoted at work to Senior Negotiator (gone are the days of comet) a nd my career is going very wel

Downside - Still skint too many parking tickets clamps and bank charges
And my Grandad passed away :-( R.I.P Grandad xxl
