Last Christmas....

:)finished my degree, fat pay rise, project could be better internally but hopefully i can point at it in the future with pride, became an uncle to the mose incredibly gorgeus baby ever, bought my first house, been to ibiza once, going back in sept. somehow managed to hold onto a woman 10 X out of my league!

Yes. Its good thanks.:)

I feel bad though as a, its tempting fate & b, there will no douby be others for whome it is crap.:?

Awww I missed this thread as I have been away, but my highlights of the last year are:

Obviously travelling Asia - the most amazing experiences that will stay with me forever. Such a scary thing when we first thought of it, but the best idea we ever had :D

My personal favourite ever Ibiza sesh (so far), last September. Great people, fantastic clubs, perfect weather... I seem to remember just laughing the whole time I was there :D

Seeing everyone when we returned from travelling - being away for six months just made me realise what great friends I have and how glad I was to see them again :D

Sar and Tom's wedding this year - the most perfect place I could ever imagine to get married :) Lovely seeing our two best friends finally tie the not :D

Finally moving out - our little flat is about as big as a shoebox but it's ours and me and Jon have finally taken that big step and moved in together (after seven years hahaha :lol:)

Looking forward to a summer of fun and minxiness.... I can't wait!!! :D

Not a bad year so far...

Highs - My beloved Celtic winning the title again and the Scottish Cup and an extended run in the Champions League, we've had a really good season and will be even stronger next year with some good new signings.

Visited some really cool places like Boston and Hamburg asides from my regular trips to Glasgow and London and Manchester occasionally, want to travel more though, i cant get enough of it,expensive business though.

Have again met some great people on my travels and had some great weekends away in Ireland.

Scored with some decent looking birds this year as well, but unlike some people im not the type who "has to be in a relationship to be happy" people like that i see as being insecure

Lows- My job situation has been unstable this year, im starting a permanent job next Monday (temping right now) and whilst im pleased i really should be earning more but ill see how it goes, on trial for 6 months.

With all the traveling ive done my bills have spiralled out of control and my financial situation is not good at all, im going to have to try not go away more but when the football season starts i know that's going to be impossible, where there's a will there's a way:lol:

My life's changed immeasureably for the better. I'm no longer under hideous amounts of pressure, I work normal hours without constant phone calls and decisions to make at all hours of the day and night and I'm deeper in love than I've ever been. It's been a great year for me.

Suppose the low is deciding, a few weeks ago, that our beautiful dog Joey is best left in Ibiza for good, because he's so happy with his rural lifestyle it would be unfair to move him.

What about you?

And I thought life had changed back then. It's a funny old life.
 
I had a really good summer, done sooo many things, went to Ibzia twice, festivals, lots of minxiness but I did feel pretty knackered towards the end of September! 8O

We're now looking forward to a quiet-ish couple of months, got to move out of our flat soon so we're looking for a new pad.

I cant WAIT til Christmas!!! I love Christmas :)

Yeah, although plans to visit them have been curtailed by writing off my car last week. Their new people say they are very happy though, so it's as much as I could wish for. I miss them dearly.
 
I managed to find myself a better job - at long last, only took me for like ever!

1 failed relationship, dalliances with no hopers (no good) but think I have finally met someone decent, early days but good :lol:
(lets hope I havent just jinxed that)

But relationship rubbish aside I have so far had such a brilliant year with all my mates, been Ibiza, Reading festival, V Festival, Brighton, many fun packed days and nights out

So yes good year so far :lol:

Just dont really want to think about xmas..........
 
Got married (twice :lol:) which were the bestest bestest bestest days of my life EVER :lol: Even tho we've been together for 4572478 years and I'd never thought of myself as the marrying type I am loving being a wife-y :D

2 fantastic holidays to Ibiza with some brilliant company :D

Some excellent festival action @ Global and SW4 :D

Had a full year of freelance work to keep me out of mischief :lol:

Now just looking forward to Barcelona this wkend, Christmas up north with all my family and New Year in Thailand :D

2007 so far = 10/10 :D

Babs - its still 2007!!!!:lol::lol::lol:

So far this year started off really badly - losing Benson after 16 1/2 years with my boy..... so it couldnt get much worse...

Work life became hectic, but could cope with it, Phil got promoted, we went to Ibiza had a ball with brilliant company, best we could have wished for, had a few trips to London for culture and also debauchery which were super, great to be catching up with old friends etc.

Celebrated 10 years of wedded bliss. I got promoted, got a good payrise work got more hectic, Phil got promoted again so that was an excellent surprise too.

..... cant think of anything else but its been a canny year after the awful start.... onwards and upwards..... 8)
