Just wondering what pets do Spotlighters have?....

Any new critters folks?

We unfortunately lost one of our Bully's last august, kidney failure

But las saturday we rescued a lovely little terrier mix from the local dog pound, she is soooo sweet and happy, and now Sam our other Bully has a new play friend (he is 65 kilos heavier  )

I cant post a pic from the work computer, and i cant access facebook. Will upload one later.

 for the one who's gone, but :D that his mate isn't alone!

Yes - when they're not in the car or either of the hammocks.

(Yes they have a car.)

We've hit seriously hard financial times but they still get presents weekly.

I never thought I would say this about rats - but **** they are cute. Nicely colour co-ordinated as well :)

She's a terror that one. If there's something to knock over, chew, spill or break, she's on it.

...and she gets away with it by grabbing each side of your nose with both claws and licking as though her life depended on it. Very cute...all you can see is the intense expression behind those two beady black eyes. Hilarious.

Ooh those rats are beautiful. We had rats a few years ago..after seeing those pictures I may have to have some more :)

i used to have a rat... called Rat Boy... i loved him much...
now we have a chihuahua- Pixi, a snake called Margaret, and 3 guinea pigs called Pepe, Paco y Juan; the three amigios... we only got the boys last weekend... so cute )

Yep - people think rats and they think hamsters (lovely as hamsters are)...but the truth is they're completely fascinating and really intelligent.

They can be toilet trained, recognise their own names and basically behave like miniature dogs! Big fan here. 8)

Those rats are adorable!

My sister had mice years ago (sounds weird I know) but they were as cute as that and also so intelligent!! Provided so much fun......

I used to have hamsters as a child, they are no way as much fun! Guinea pigs rule though 8)

My brother and I had everything at various points during our childhood - guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, lizards (anoles, geckos, chameleons), turtles, parakeets, fish, insects (especially praying mantises).

But my first pet was Linda the albino guinea pig. She lived for years. Scared of her own shadow but still fun to have around, aside from the fact that her cage needed cleaning at very short intervals.

Since university I've only had cats. Don't have one now because the last one we had, about 8 years ago, was a beautiful Persian kitten who caught a cold and died. I've never been so depressed in my life

Me and my sister were the same, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice! We have a cat now who is about 13...will be sad when he goes (even though I moan about him covering my clothes in hair!)

I had a guinea pig called spot who was crushed by a falling garden fence.

It was a harrowing experience.

Last night I was out for a run and i found a really big frog sitting by a busy road looking like he was trying to get to the other side, so i picked him up and carried him over the road, and put him in the field opposite.

On reflection i realised that he might have actually just risked his life crossing from the other side.
