I can think of a more appropriate surname for him (clue: rhymes with 'Blunt.. ).. seriously though, am not a fan. Sounds like Rod Stewart being put through a mincing machine.
As for Dido, I agree that 'Hunter' is a good tune. Songs in minor keys always seem to work better for me.

liked dido - but easily bored with her (id say she was more demure than dull)
david gray - lucky with one good album, everything else he ever came up with is poor (and i was championing white ladder when this years love the film was released)

I'm not taking the piss. I know to the untrained ear he's just the soundtrack to a million car-rides in the 80's, but his lyrics have depth and substance, and a timeless appeal that'll be around for generations.
