Due to issues beyond it's control, Alter Ibiza must close for 2016. We are doing everything possible to resolve the issues over the winter so we can relaunch for 2017. We would like to thank everyone involved in the project for their continuing love, support and hard work.
 
who cares. was way too late too late anyway to open in the middle of the season. and then 7 nights. crazy. at least there is some fresh white paint on the walls ...

If Es Paradise and Eden are struggling I can't see this place ever taking off.

If that's the case I think it's fair enough. Safety no1 priority. The rational about the other closures is more debatable.
 
no idea who will be running it or how it will be called but the venue is getting ready to reopen. a promoter that was meant to do a few events there next week posted this...

We’ve recently been looking at the Alter club refurb and while it looks nicely painted n decorated ( white !!!), after inspection, were not too funky about the toilettes. There were smells there last year, that we were promised would be rectified for this year, but It doesn't seem to have worked.

.... What kind of sick individual threatens to boycott a club because I'm playing there - all based upon a couple of lies by two attention seeking women from years ago ? The first woman was proved to be a liar in court - and the second woman I dumped five years ago after she was abusive to my darling Daughter Eve.

How sad that they are coercing their friends into bullying a club owner by threatening his livelihood, just because he had the good business sense to book what in his words were "the best DJ for the job."

That said - I had hoped for better treatment from him - it's also a shame for his business because I know there were hundreds of people excited about coming precisely because I WAS playing - bad business decision I feel. I'm interested to see how many people will now boycott the club because of the decision to cancel me ?

As a result I am stranded on the island after Friday with no accommodation and very little money - I can offer DJ services as exchange for room and board - or I'm looking for gigs to be able to pay for accommodation.

I can't name anyone because it will only result in me being blocked on FB - they are cowards and bullies and hide behind the weakness of others.

PLEASE - express your disappointment or anger but - NO names or hatred please - full statement later on - big SIGH

... Anyone know when the Ibiza Pop Up Club 'Falter' is opening for the season ?

Oh ! He's too busy washing cars to earn money to pay back all the people he ripped off.

I think I read somewhere (possibly on here) the architect of summum designed the inside of the original cafe del mar.
Pity someone can't make a decent go of it.
