when it comes to driving, the entire stretch leaving san carlos for cala san vicente, then driving up into san joan and then over to portinatx, to me personally it's easily the best bit to drive here on the island. lots of turns and you get rewarded with views to die for!

Great on an ebike too!

actually says so here https://www.latorreibiza.com/es/restaurante-terraza

terrace: min spend 100€ per person.

Creating an economic burden and giving people a simple reason not to visit a restaurant, especially in these unprecedented times, is insane. Popping up for a beer and sunset with a few friends, one of Ibiza’s simple pleasures now costs €400? Not very Balearic. Wise up.

It is balearic ( in some cases ). There are a lot of rip offs in Ibz
Dont go there and everything is fine.
The thing is : Without min spend there are a lot of people who only drink two beer the whole evening. Min spend of 30 E will be enough and ok

Add them to the list, simple list of who and what to avoid..

there were disturbing signs that it was heading in this direction. Pushy staff that 'guide you' in and this feeling that you're keeping the seats warm until the big spenders turn up. The irony is that down to earth DJs like Coyote or Phil Cooper are as far removed from that bollocks as it gets but they have to go with it to get the gigs.

at a guess, I'd say that the bars are also calculating that the high-end market has remained resilient and that the 'aspirational lifestyle' set still have money to burn so the profiteering at least has some commercial logic

Last day in ibiza before the ferry tomorrow ?
After a great dinner yesterday with fantastic friends, we'll go to the big beach in Portinatx today and a goodbye dinner at Es Puet Blanc.
Mañana, waking early to buy cigarettes and oranges, and ferry at 1pm.
I just can't wait to come back.
April?
