ibiza gossip 2025

True, I think Swedish House mafia should have some nights on Tuesdays September/October. 2 Wednesdays should be Elrow (Jul 23 / Aug 13), like before. And I guess Armin will be there again on Sunday late in the season so that's basically the line-up complete and except Kygo almost a copy of last year and putting Calvin Harris twice in a week.... All the changes in the other clubs, they are kind of shooting themself in the foot this year if you ask me. But maybe it's a good thing I am not responsible for the programming 😂

Events like Guetta, Calvin Harris, SHM and Kygo have a more general tourist crowd rather than people who are more up to speed on electronic music and want exciting fresh stuff so I think they can get away with the same calender year after year. There will come a time when some tweaks are needed though.

And not insulting those mentioned above...sometimes listening to very familiar songs in the Ushuaia sunset is as good night out too.

Agree, it suits the tourist market.

I just have two issues with Ushuaia in 2025 / now.

  1. The 23:00 finish. I am sorry, I just can not get into it finishing that early. 21:00 - 00:00 that place was rocking in years gone by, the 23:00 end just feels like your Mum walked in on you when you were having a party in your bedroom when you were a kid and turned the lights on and turned the music off.
  2. The Sound is awful compared to how good it used to be! It was one of (if not the best) outside sound systems 2013 - 2019....You could even feel it at the back. For me, it is 50% as good as it used to be.

Gotta play the rules or they lose the lot! 11pm is a wet week of a time to finish.. Just like mum walking in you 😂

Why are you afraid of seeing drunk people at Pacha? Would you rather see people on MDMA with a bottle of water?

It’s a great thing that alcohol prices are going down. After all, alcohol is the basic principle of a nightclub !

3 vodka lemon please !
The more alcohol you introduce to a club, the more trouble you will invite in my opinion
I’ve been Clubbing for over 20years and I can honestly say that clubbers on MDMA etc are a much much happier and accommodating crowd.
No doubt that will be seen as a controversial comment and yes, there are still small pockets of people who go too far but from my experiences over the years, i know for sure which audience id rather be in a club with.

F*** ME I'M FAMOUS continuing on Mondays @Ushuaia Jun 09 - Oct 06
Tickets starting at 100 euros is so grim. Like how can you pick up Ants tickets for 30 euros and see the likes of Camelphat for 40 euros, yet this particular night starts at 100 euros. Ridiculous

Also, I saw mention of Swedish House Mafia playing some Tuesdays potentially at Ushuaïa late in the season . Not sure if anybody has attended their shows the past couple of years, but are they just playing the big EDM hits from 10 years ago? If so, it's a shame, as Ingrosso and Angello were great DJs 15 or so years ago...

I recall Steve Angello was a +1 for Solomum a few years back, but not sure how that went

Nowadays those kind of "party " are not party anymore , it’s more like a concert/show type of things ( guetta said it himself not too long ago ) 2h of a live /visual show ,it’s something very different from a clubbing party imo , but about the price , you will pay the same price in every big city in Europe for sure !

Spot on!

Before 2022 , sold out didn’t exist in Ibiza. Once again, a law forced clubs to count the number of guests and impose a sold out limit based on the club’s capacity. Of course, they took advantage of this to introduce dynamic ticket pricing! That’s the story.
quite sure i've seen sold out posted at Ibiza clubs years and decades before 2022

Don't think I've ever seen that in my time...I remember one in one out rule down Space closing but that was about it. Never seen a 'sold out' in an Ibiza club (they just don't do it!)

Yes indeed. I would never pay those ticket prices for these artists but then again I am not the target audience... But got to give it to both the artists and Ushuaia that they are able to ask these prices. It means there is plenty demand. Some are even already €120 I see...

What is the peak time party in Ushuaia? ~20-23.00? This is quite a heavy price for a proper party of three hours:)

I think I’ll give my 2 pence RE Ushuaia. I think I’m caught between generations being in my mid 30s. I loved space as much as I did Ushuaia. Felt like there was a place for both of them. I went last year for defected and I don’t half think it’s gone downhill. Feel like it’s been neglected. The toilets were in a state the black paint job over the previously green bamboo looked awful and the place just looked grubby. But the true killer is the 11 o’clock finish. I can’t believe people pay 100 euros and they probably only show up for the “headliner” and get a two hour experience find it mental. I do think Ushuaia have got lazy with the programming. Once upon a time you had Loco Dice’s residency which to this day was one of my best experiences there. Even the opening and closing parties have got lazy now. And I remember when the closing party for space closing weekend finished at 02:00. Was unbelievable. Not sure they are still allowed to do that for opening/closings or whether they chose not to as it becomes direct competition with themselves with Hï. The Calvin Harris Tuesdays decision is another lazy idea but it does make financial sense. Guaranteed to be busy peak summer. I suppose you can argue it’s a supply and demand but the problem is TNL now own half of Ibizas clubs. Feels like Ibiza has gone really stale with lineups. This is my year to finally go to some new places in Ibiza I think. Still yet to do cova Santa, Alaska etc. maybe I’ve just got old 😅

Spot on …I went to Loco Dice’s event .so good, and Luciano had his own event ,now it’s just utter crap on a daily basis with a few good events thrown inFor me the closing of Underground a week before Unvrs was announced was the the real kick in he teeth, 2 opposite ends of the scale .
There are still loads of really good events though , Circo Loco continue to bring in new Djs as do events like DNS etc .

I can’t believe how they’ve managed to ruin a good thing in Ants too. It used to be bouncing at around 4pm when they had it at the back for the beginning of the event. Around 10 years ago it single handedly ended the popularity of zoo project on a Saturday IMO. I’ve noticed they’ve halved the price of the tickets for it this year. I couldn’t believe it when they were €60 odd last year

Could not agree with this more. Would still love to understand why they killed the one thing that was “kind of cool” at Ushuaïa. I genuinely had some amazing afternoons there. Maybe it got a bit too edgy for the safer clientele they were chasing?
