Carl Cox at UNVRS on Sundays is not just bad news for Amnesia as he didn't go to them with his party but also as he will be tough competition for Pyramid (if Pyramid stays on Sundays). Also as the invited artists will be similar at both parties, I guess.

I guess between the fact that he held up his oath of never playing hi, the other fact he's played the new venue previously (when it was privilege) and the obvious fact he's been offered silly money, that's where even coxy says 'OK, time to turn the page'

anyone stil thinking 'oh amnesia will absolutely be fine', think twice. I wish them the best and they do have a few good things lined up for this year, but it is what I'd said a few weeks ago: dog eat dog season. unvrs can't fail and for that everyone else needs to suffer a bit, probably even their other two venues.
