ibiza gossip 2025

It’s sad there is no loyalty and money doesn’t buy you happiness in life. So l really hope it works out for them all! Would Paradise fill an 8000 capacity venue weekly, hit & miss. I’m over in September, giving plenty of time for the dust to settle across the land. I may stick head in to the Unvrs to see all the stars (if they align) but for me the real Ibiza clubs is the likes of Amnesia etc. which l still will support as much as l can!
I'd have thought UNVRS would build some way of reducing the room size for smaller nights, they can't expect to be getting 8k every night all season and if it's only half full people start to think 'it's a bit dead'

Yeah l thought the same, fold out room dividers. It would need to be a versatile space rather then an expansive arena.. Room 2, vista style?? Who knows

what's kinda funny in all of this is the following

for years TNL have spared no effort and cost in order to make sure hï becomes (and stays) 'the world's number one club' (I call BS on that).

now with literally all the biggest artists heading to UNVRS, even though hï's weekly line up isn't out yet, I can guarantee you a few of the nights will feel very second class. and since TNL are gonna channel all their efforts in making sure UNVRS is very busy, I can't help but think the world's number one club will see a few poorly visited nights this summer.

also, and that's not rocket science either, TNL will spare no costs and effort to make sure UNVRS is the world's number one club by the end of 2026 or latest 2027.

I’m wondering if there might be economies of scale for the likes of Paradise. You will pull bigger numbers if the capacity lets you drop prices a bit.

That’s probably wishful thinking though as I don’t see TNL being keen on anything being seen as bargain basement!

Yea…and you’d think with all the extra capacity prices may come down a bit but seeing what they are charging for elrow shows this won’t happen. Fully expect UNVRS will be a spectacular production but probably one of these things that you go once and that’s it…sadly all this is taking away from the actual music which is what we are all here for? Maybe not nowadays (gosh I sound old!)

Bang on with that. People or rather, the new clubbers/ instagram crew will dump one over the other. I’m saying that we used to go club to club when all offered great parties back when.. Bite their own ass.. Hi will become a lio style venue in time perhaps

Surely the pressure is on Unvrs? If they go with 7 nights, thats 7 nights they will expect to get 7-8000k people. If a couple of nights don’t do well, then that will be the news on the island.

Amnesia offering a cheaper alternative will sway quite a few people if they get the nights right.

I’m not sure wishing and crossing fingers will make it all fine.

I wish I had nice blonde hair like Ryan Gosling and a body like Ryan Phillippe - but reality is reality.

Who is there left to fill Amnesia is the likely reality of all this.
I think there are a load of options for Amnesia that will thrive - Ben Hemsley is the obvious choice currently but you also have “Eats Everything” who’s undertaking his “History of Rave” tour - maybe he brings that to Ibiza as he publicly loves amnesia.
I can see Sonny Fodera going to somewhere like Ushuaia as that will suit his target audience to a tee so that could open the door to replace his night with Danny Howard.
I also think Gorgon City could host something as they’re flying high in the states currently and they’d be a good fit for the departing “Paradise” night
would be good to get some more Techno on the scene too..between that and trance there’s a nice resurgence and it’d be ace to get that thriving again to hopefully change the cut and copy style house music that all the “insta-snap-face-tubers” sway to while filming in their sunglasses.
They need to get the clubs vibrating again and the music is key to that (subjective and personal preference aside) everything seems to be so similarly gentle and melodic now.

My wild guess and im currently drunk so am talking shit, Is Hi will be demolished and the wasteland/area around will be turned into some mega hotel or golf club. Can’t see them both being busy unless there is a different style of music at hi (more underground)

Since there are a few names mentioned so far for potential residencies this is what would be good to see.
I know the music and clubbing industry is of course money driven like any other business but what I'd like are more chances would be given to lesser known DJs, especially local which often get overlooked.
There's a good bunch of guys/girls in the Spanish music scene for example that have nothing to envy to your Jamie Jones, Carola and the likes just to name a few but unfortunately popularity always wins over quality sometimes.

Maybe they won’t open every night but 4,5 times a week the first year

For Paradise , very sad news , been a few times last year and some dates in September were not very full so good luck in a club nearly 2 times bigger

Yeah paradise was one of the ones that was never really rammed which I liked. Tbf the island complains there’s no room in raves anymore which is true so it’ll be nice to get some. JJ will just have to go huge with the lineups, as some of them were a bit meh at Amensia. I really hope solid grooves moves over as dc10 is a shit show
