Not sure this is a good move (if UNVRS). I went a year or so ago and they were struggling to fill the 2 rooms in Amnesia. Having said that, the Terrace was pretty packed for Jamie Jones, just the main room which was pretty spacious

I think the introduction of Univrs will give Ibiza the shakeup it needs as there are a fair few nights and events going a bit stale IMO.
Would be nice to see Amnesia and Pacha getting some “proper” club nights back in the door and hopefully see Hi offer some of the smaller acts a chance on a bigger stage
I think the likes of James Hype, Gorgon City, Arielle Free, Mochakk could draw enough to host new nights in Hi if the likes of Guetta and Prydz head over to Univrs. Would also be mega to see Ben Hemsley host a “trancey” night at Amnesia as the scene is screaming out for something like that.
If rumors are correct and Defected and Glitterbox head back to Pacha then maybe we see some completely new nights emerge which would also be great.
…And don’t get me started on Carl Cox coming back to host a season night somewhere as that would blow the doors off everything. Would be mega to have him back!
There’s also a few acts that haven’t featured much in Ibiza but are big enough acts to come and host nights too…John Summit and Dom Dolla spring to mind
Nonetheless - fingers crossed for a mega season and will be heading out for the usual pilgrimage in June before the millions of “insta-snap-face-tubers” arrive in high season
P.S - hope they ban phones in all clubs

Do you think Carl Cox sells venues in Ibiza out in 2024? Genuine question as I'm not so sure... would it be relying on older clubbers?

I think there are enough “older clubbers” during the season to satisfy that. Supplemented by the youth who want to say they saw Coxy in Ibiza.
I think he could certainly fill Amnesia for a season alongside Amile Lens and Nina Kravitz for a techno night

I’ve personally not heard anything on Glitterbox moving to Pacha.
I personally wouldn’t goto see Carl cox if he was playing in my back garden. Each to their own though

Would depend if he's still playing anything like the last 10 years, bar the hybrid sets, it always sounds like a warm up set these days.

The programme isn't complete yet. Still early and late season Wednesdays to fill

I think so Carl Cox is very popular, but cant see him having a night for anyone else In ibiza as he loved space and pepe and loyal to them

He’ll be in Europe as always for our Summer though.
The big question is will Resistance ever come back to Ibiza? They were last here summer 2019 Privilege. UNVRS would seem the obvious place for it (would their production even fit into Amnesia)? And if it did come back would Coxy play for a TNL venue? He’s played Ushuaia a few times, but never Hï.
