Be interested to know what the pre-trip instructions were. Radio 1 been putting smashed presenters on air on their Ibiza weekend event for years - what's the limit?
I rarely listen to radio one but did a bit of driving this weekend and they were making quite a big thing out of it on Saturday - I.e one presenter boasting not getting to bed until 10am after being in the green room at Hi with all the free drinks, Arielle Free being out till 4am and calling Jordan North a lightweight for going to bed at 1am after the 528 show.

Obviously all exaggerated / put on but a bit hypocritical in retrospect now

Strikes me as an employer blurring the lines between work and play, to their benefit, and then blaming the employee for the consequences. I'm very much a fan of the BBC, but in this instance, I think they are wrong.

Be best if they briefed the presenters: "Your doing the first two days, then you're off, your colleagues will reference your post-work partying, but don't come near a microphone, and even if you tried to the producers have been instructed to keep you out."

Well Destino is incredibly busy for Pacha's 50th and so far musically I would have to say that it's Solomun who has adapted to accommodate Carola's groovy Tech House. Let's see what happens later in Pacha!

Yup, a friendly chuckle and 'you're probably not in the best state to have your opinion heard my dear' and no-one bats an eyelid
This story made me listen to radio 1 for the first time in years. It’s all just attention seeking, one upmanship, lack of professionalism all round. Can’t the BBC do better than this? I guess it has worked.

Charlie being mortally offended at a record she is playing being playfully criticised. She’s nearly 40 ffs.

Arielle turn up inebriated when off duty. She’s nearly 35 ffs.

Producers allowing her on air.

Presenters subsequently boasting on air about free everything in vip rooms, after their colleague is suspended.

Back to Radio Luxembourg for me…

Obviously left it a bit late for Solomun this Sunday and now completely sold out. Anyone on the island know if any of the stalls still have any at all or is it a door job?
