Well, when Carola started his own night in amnesia , his night went very successful for 2 reason , the Italian crowd which were very big in ibiza during that time and which are really loyal to the Italian dj in general and the second is that they were giving free guestlist for the entire season to all the ibiza workers
When everyone saw the video of pack amnesia in morning time the trend was on .
Speaking just about music carola is weak imo for 15 years at least

Random question. I’m looking at bringing a sports team over to Ibiza during the first week of April. Are many bars and restaurants likely to be open in San An or is Ibiza Town the better option at that time of year?. Cheers.

If you are just after drinks and nightlife i'd say yes better to head to the Canaries/Benidorm/Costa Del Sol.
If you can delay a bit IMS was on 27th April this year and is now the proper start of the Ibiza season.

the gossip thread is the ideal place for such discussions to start, but once an individual topic takes over the whole thread, that's when it becomes logical to move it to its own dedicated place otherwise "gossip" becomes something else entirely.Define “gossip” then please
Most people visit this thread to get info on what's happening in the clubs, not their politics which is just about everywhere else online and very easy to access

That Nanana song has totally crossed over to all mainstream radio now I think. Radio 1, 2, all of the adult contemporary ones can not get enough of it now. It kind of has a bit of everything for everyone. Pains me to say, but its a clever song... even if it does annoy me. Between this and Kyle Padam Padam not sure which one more catchy.

I can't remember the last time a "credible" artist made such a crossover track that got played so much in "credible" clubs in Ibiza and then kids requesting it to be played in bars in the UK before the summer was out. Possibly MK's remix of Storm Queen's Look Right Through? Even that wasn't as popular as Nanana.

As I see it Spotlight's job is ultimately to drive traffic, hype parties and punt tickets, and this thread assists that. It make sense therefore that it becomes problematic for them when discussions on here go off piste. I think the nature of the thread though means that speculation can very easily go astray and people can easily go off topic without even realising. The word 'gossip' where I come from generally means something very different hence the occasional confusion.
