Airbnb is partly to blame for this as well. I struggled to find a decent place to live this year when it was never an issue. Many people who own anything that resembles a room, list it illegally on airbnb, and thus nothing to rent for workers. Anyone who visits the island this year, please think carefully about booking non-hotel illegal accommodation - be part of a solution, not a problem. 🙂

Inflation is rampant across Spain right now, pushing 10%. Holiday areas even more affected. Of course there will be profiteering and lets not kid ourselves workers get any more than the crumbs, but would be naive not to expect big price hikes when energy bills are so high. Whether people are getting value in terms of entertainment offered is a whole different debate of course. I think more parties taking more creative risks and doing things 'inhouse' could've saved a fortune on dj/agency fees but i'm whistling in the wind as per usual..
Yeah, it’s running at 9.8% in the U.K.

Ibiza tickets are expensive for some clubs such Hï ibz ,60€ is the standard when it used to be 50€ with early bird 30€, other clubs have fair prices
i never paid more than 40€ for glitterbox (was on free list of djs previous years), so no choice this time to pay 60€ unless some discount writbands back b(50€ 😬 still 2/3 of 14€ water bottle saver)...
Es Paradise, keep on dancing yesterday night, Eden 25€, akasha 16.5€, Octan ibz
The only club where price has decrease is EDEN
Amnesia had fair prices for some parties, elrow most popular party is 55€ early bird , can expect it to be 80€,it was already 70€ ibz 19..
Add some inflation, life, leisure has a cost now. oil in ibz used to be cheaper than France, price was same since ibz 2020 and maybe pricer following a pic ive seen a few months ago ,2€ sp95 /l here in France, i was wondering if still same price in ibz or pricer ?
Dc10 tix standard price has rise from 50 to 60€ so not a big rise except opening closing that is 80€ since ibz closing 19 (it's no more the 10€ from ibz 99 )

Still no news for The Zoo project?

Out club, in the beach star hotel, cala de bou, sounds a good cheap option for those that can't afford big clubs , i may have a visit.

ps:don't forget some people had paid 100€-200€ for dinner events last year Cova Santa ushuaia 🙄

Okay, I've had a tiny sprinkling of MD admittedly, but Keep On Dancing at Es Paradis has a lot of potential right now. DJ has just dropped Euryrthmics Love Is A Stranger

If you're on the island/in San An, get here!

Open till 06:00 or close enough
Was there, and survived. 🤟

There were no masks, no other restrictions, and no nonsense. Ibiza is back in business again.

The entrance area is, as expected, very Insta-friendly. It takes at least 15 minutes for an average girl to get through, and on into the main area. The club itself is breathtakingly decadent and opulent, but has more of an updated and light/white 1980s feel than say a Russian oligarch's summer palace. This club has elements of a classical style, with the rotunda and its sunken lounge area being the main focal point. The walls seemed to be decorated to resemble a night sky, with hundreds of "planets" hanging from the ceiling.

A club with such a large open area, and various surrounding levels with bars and viewing platforms, needs to be packed to get the right atmosphere. Which it wasn't last night. The crowd seemed to be 90% Spanish.

I was not too keen on the music played in the main area. It was too bland/generic, and neither melodic nor hardcore house/trance enough. The alternative dance floor, Room 2, was however brilliant. Room 2 is a more of a standard dark and cramped club.

I left around 5 AM after Room 2 has closed.

yes ,new cota in cala de bou , didnt notice it was close by The beach star, some french dj playing at cota .
i may have visit along my quiet opening days may 3rd to may 5th.

Spotlight people save thé date for August 9th,a french DJ that may be unknown to All of you (he had fame +20years ago but didnt had the Luck of Laurent Garnier but he IS a pionneer DJ in Paris scene) IS in ibiza and for sure i will attend to this party in a secret location as he really play kick ass music (not House but Techno too )
Sounds Underground plan to Big Clubs for sure and his music IS far FAR better DJ Aktarus NRVScreenshot_20220418-182414_1.jpg

Tulum parties are often $120 usd and they are happening weekly now. The town has graduated far beyond a place with a festival or two per year. Ibiza still reigns supreme for drink prices though....that is unless you consider places with oversaturated bottle service culture, ie Vegas. In vegas you might not even be able to walk through the door without buying a table. In that regard I am content that in ibiza there is still enough of a dance floor culture to be able to pay 60euros cover and buy a few drinks inside and your total bill is far less than what you'd pay for bottle service. I cannot stand clubs that have more people at tables than on the dancefloor

How was it mate? Was at a wedding and we didn’t end up getting away till 3am. Seen him a bunch of times already but never so close to home!
Was proper good mate! Mint is a belter of a club, first time I’ve been but the Cristoph gigs are tallying up too aye

after Steve Aoki on Tuesday it might be the comeback of Paris Hilton on Fridays!

My attempt at piecing together the Friday Amnesia Puzzle is below. If I am right it looks like it is a less commercial music night!
