Personally think Trick will trump Solid Grooves easily

Nah I think Solid Grooves will be road block every week - Bibi is absolutely huge now and the line up is a floorfiller every week. Plus it’s an established Ibiza brand of the last 5 years or so. Suspect Trick will do well, but SG will be rammed

First time last night in Akasha and I loved it! The sound is incredible and the music was great. Darque played some amazing music and Shimza was also good. Left before David Mayer started. It was like if Black Coffee dared push the tempo that little bit more.
Probably between 100 - 200 inside. Plenty of space and just enough for an atmosphere. Another 50-75 people would've been perfect

ES Paradis promo looks cool (I think it’s already been mentioned). Not sure if there is a market for day to night but good luck to them…I have a very soft spot for that club

I remember Solid Grooves being in the smaller room of Privilege back in I believe it was 2018 and it felt like a small intimate party even then the room wasn't rammed. This was when Bibi was becoming very popular in the U.K mainly with a younger U.K audience.

Solid Grooves brand is for a U.K audience still to date and they put on a small festival in London last year out of lockdown and again full of 18 year olds but I actually went to it because I was desperate to get to an event of some sort and their special guest was Loco Dice and still I wouldn't have said it was exactly super popular.

Be interested to see how it gets on at DC10 across two rooms but I predict it to be a good amount of people providing a great atmosphere while allowing you to properly dance without distractions

I may in fact go to the opening too subject to who is playing so might even report back

As previously revealed, Keeper was up for grabs...

on the solid grooves vs trick subject, I think what really makes the difference is the day they're on and the competition they have.

SG for now only really has afterlife as competition. there's still stuff to come for other venues on thursday night, but I truly think bibi will generally have it a bit easier than topping because...

trick will be on the toughest day of the week. carola at pacha, defected at eden, calvin harris at ushuaïa, david guetta at hï. even if some of those are completely different sound styles, they are all massive crowd pullers. plus, you've got two daytime into evening things in san an (which is where most of trick goers would stay I believe) with cuckoo land and especially also the new release ibiza party at es paradis. if that's priced right and gets a bit of traction it might as well turn into something pretty cool.

oh, and let's not forget amnesia still haven't announced their friday night (their thursday nighter won't be competition for SG).

it's really gonna be interesting to see how all those dc10 parties pan out!

So pirate has said it’s 67 euro for DC10 opening, 80 on the door. Is it just me but that’s a ridiculous price and totally against the ethos of before when you’d nip down there after Space on a Monday? I get that they need cash after being closed for Covid etc. but is that not taking the piss?

has been a similar price for last 5 or so years (well, maybe 10€ less). and if you consider the line up and you know it's +12 hrs (if you're up for it) i think 67€ is fine really.
