Absolutely, of course there are going to be events which you enjoy more than others. I have been to parties which I didn’t really get into it whether it was because of my frame of mind or simply because the music and general vibe wasn’t working at that time but in the case of our pirate, he goes to a lot of parties, going by his endless list, but seems to enjoy only a very small fraction of them as there is always something he moans about from quality of music to not space to dance at the front etc..etc.. Maybe his heart it’s not in it anymore hence why I asked.

La troya last party this wednesday when supposéd to end early oct
Looks liké they struggle to fill club,when u know it came from amnesia huge party decades ,Heart ibz then part of dancefloor of Octan...
It was nice party AT octan even with 200-300 people..
DJ on those lineup are not the Always same overrated DJs on lights..

Paradise amnesia nothing to do with paradise Dc10 a no go this year.
Still enjoy outdoors parties n few nightime (Enjoy glitterbox but soundsystem at theatre room is pure shit, too much bass

IYou keep contradicting yourself tho saying you not a sheep and are picky then seems to go to all parties on the island even if you know full well you are not into that type of music or DJ. I don’t know what the reasons are maybe exposure? FOMO?
It’s none of my business anyway you do you but I’d like to read soon a post where you say you had a smashing time and not just negative stuff. Now, yes back to the gossips 😉

I think the forum rules are that we're not allowed to discuss other forum members (someone like Diver for instance cunningly stays within the rules by regularly taking pot shots at me but in a very passive-aggressive 'side eye' kind of way) but I think you are right to identify the weirdness of forum members going to parties they obviously have no interest in. No great secret that wild horses wouldn't drag me to 90% of the clubbing on offer which is why I stay well out of those threads for which I imagine a fair few people are thankful. On the issue of whether people should be more or less negative, working on the basis that most on here write in good faith and are not industry bods, I think people should always be honest about their nights out. I get that the staff logically have to put a positive spin on everything but random forum users should just tell it as it is. If people feel reluctant to criticise, it ceases to be a forum, no?
 
May we see a Sasha renaissance in the coming weeks? He seems to be having a busy schedule but nothing on the Pityuses as far as I know. He only made two appearances early season which is less than during coviddays

Noticed he cancelled a date at cova Santa on the 14th Sep.

Indeed, presumably due to the infamous Sant Josep noise restrictions.

Nevertheless he should be on a few shortlists around for closing season.

I think he has been very consistent throughout the years and could attract decent crowds in all kinds of venues + he doesn't make a fool of himself behind the decks.

Even a party with the almighty holy ghost - Solomun, would fail to resurrect his soul

So I can imagine his predicament

However I agree with what he said regards to being fussy when you have done so many parties. I feel I am the same at times. Once a level gets set of expectation from previous experiences it is hard to enjoy what often can be a bit of a mediocre night.
 
What’s the verdict been on Octan ? With the investment I was hopeful it might be able to at least match Sankeys output but seems didn’t really get much going this season ?
