for those that haven't seen it yet, here's how pacha looks now

Looks bigger in there now with the dancefloor at the back?

@stivi your thoughts please?

same old story.

people who have gone to dc10 opening/closing before know exactly what's in store for them - and in my books it wasn't any worse than any other year. but of course, those doing this party for the first time and just hitting the opening, they were in for a bit of a shock for sure.

as others said in here, if you can't stand the masses just arrive early and leave when you've had enough.

didn't go to Space Closing as I did not enjoy Carl Cox on Tuesday as it was crowded like hell. Same for Afterlife at Hi - would not go anymore (all the space used for table service and huge backstage). So just don't go anymore and wait for my favourite DJ to be close to hometown or go to a festival in the Netherlands where it is safely organised. I still go to Ibiza but mainly for the beaches and maybe some less crowded events in off season or leave early at DC10.

Venues have a legal capacity for a reason. It's one of those regulations that ensure the safety of patrons and have been set after many lives have been sadly lost in many events in the last century.
The fact that some individuals choose to excuse this criminal behaviour from a business by making comments like "you know how DC10 is like", "it's an opening party, what did you expect" is embarassing. It looks like lives could have been lost and the welfare of many attendees was seriously affected.
The authorities have to take strong action and prosecute a business that respects nothing but profits. Otherwise they are doing a diservice to patrons and other decent bussinesses.

what time should one expect to show up (with ticket) in a couple weeks and be able to get inside without waiting too long in queue (say more than an hour)?

Just seen the line ups (room splits) for black coffee @ Hi. Can’t help but feel a few of the artists to play with BC would of been better suited to play in the DL room and vice verser 🤷‍♂️

Space closing was very busy but there was surprisingly room to dance and move about. DC10 is a totally different story, a part from some garden sessions , which I love, I hardly enjoyed it every single time I’ve been.

Back on the gossip side, are there any rumours re …err Rumours making a come back this season, preferably at Destino? I used to really like that. I never been to those held at Las Dalias due to the hassle to get there.

Beachouse would be my guess… and not every week

DC10 has now deleted hundreds of negative comments about overcrowding from its Instagram - disgraceful behaviour really.
That’s not unusual for them. I was blocked on Instagram three years ago for some sort of constructive criticism. They don’t like it up ‘em.

Hmmmm. That’s not very responsible advocacy though is it? Especially considering the shit they have previously got into. DC10 seem to have a very short termite business model - shove them in, when they complain on social media block them and they don’t come back. But the venue is sufficiently small to just churn through new clubbers each year and rinse and repeat. Genuine question - have you ever challenged them on this and what is their justification?

Agreed that Space could handle very busy due to the size, layout and many rooms. So you might not have been able to get in the main room or terrace at times but you could somewhere. DC10 has small double doors linking the rooms / outside and it’s a huge bottle neck.

Amnesia has been the same especially when they had a stage at the ‘back’ of the terrace , and also by the link door. Being at a Cream night whenever that was is the closest I’ve ever come to being crushed. Didn’t help them security further narrowed the doorways to try and control the flow 🙄

Especially with them now selling tickets there should be no difficulty ensuring the people who are there can have a good evening
