I mean without dismissing peoples concerns… Shock Horror… Opening parties are extremely busy! Is this a new phenomenon?

Indeed but doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be called out or something done about it. It is pure greed and is something that has been happening to Circo Loco in general over the years. The couple I know that went are seasoned clubbers & been to Ibiza enough times and for them to make a big thing about it on Facebook makes me think it was especially bad ?

Aren’t these places meant to have door counters now ?

I attended the Circoloco opening party in 2019 and it was exactly the same. Genuinely interested, will it be the same at all DC10 events or just Circoloco? I was looking to buy tickets for Carl Cox, but definitely won't if it's going to like the videos that have surfaced of the opening party.

Packed as hell but i vé managed to be 1rst row and build packs with randoms ,Garden(Tania Tennis were good,Bibi not really m'y stuf this mellow tech House ) Terrace (Butch Maceo,i left After 10mn' of Tou as it made me feel sleepy even making an effort to have a listen)Main Room (Red Axes were good,Blond:ish too)

the FOMO is too strong so people go knowingly it is going to be rammed.

Anyway circo is at its best at 1800-2300 in my opinion

It won't be quite as busy, but if you want a less crowded DC10 then any of the other weekly parties are going to be a better option for you

Option 1... Just don't go to the opening or closing. Option 2... Go early, enjoy the garden and leave. I don't really care about the terrace anymore. Always too busy at the opening/closing. Every year the same story...

Not usually. Opening and closings are always silly busy. It's the same very year. There are, of course, some really busy events during the season but generally there is little more room to manoeuvre. As others have said, go early and enjoy the fresh air of the garden and the terrace before midnight. Simply lovely.

DC10 has now deleted hundreds of negative comments about overcrowding from its Instagram - disgraceful behaviour really.

One thing that always did bother me about several of the events in Ibiza was overcrowding. It's simply not enjoyable to be listening to " dance music " and not be able to actually dance due to being packed in so tight. So poor from DC10 to be doing this yet again. Can't say it's always been limited to them though, been to some horrendously packed elrow events at Amnesia over the years too, really needs to be looked at as it can have such a negative effect on a night. There's busy - good, and then there's COMPLETELY PACKED- this isn't what anyone in attendance really wants.

People shouldn’t have to avoid opening and closings due to overcrowding, should be illegal. Will the authorities only do something about it when there’s a disaster and a few people are crushed to death?

I make you right, however there does come a point where the clubs themselves need to take responsibility and not oversell events too. I'm actually out in August this year, maybe i should stop moaning!
