Hi Stivi,

What is the reason for making the event free? Do you think if they put ticket charges it would not be busy? The lineup seems strong enough.
 
11 PM Ushuaia closing is bull. I hope they ignore it and go till 12 anyways but I doubt they would wanna be that bait.

Does that mean the events are starting earlier? Didn't check times

from what I know, they simply want it to be a free event as was the case last year at blue marlin. which I think is a fantastic approach!

doesn't look like it. also consider the temperatures and sun we get here in summer...

Here's hoping they keep with the hippy spirit and still have the barter system.. last year I got beers for some old sink plugs that I took from our hotel..
 
Few really strong ights for resistance across both room. Good to see layo & bushwacka back for a few dates.

Can someone remind me if the vista room still reaches sunrise with the earlier closing times? Depending on what month maybe?

I went to resistance twice in July last year, one week apart from another. The first one anna and Francesca Lombardo closed it down and it ended at like 430 or 5 AM and the second one was Eats Everything and it was done a bit later. Both times were not open long enough to see the sun

Resistance actually closed Vista around 5 on at least two occasions last summer, and moved everyone into the main room. Made a lot of sense doing so, instead of splitting the crowd. Everybody still got their advertised set time.
Unsure if Vista went until sunrise apart from the super busy Coxy dates.
 
My second date was Cox's birthday lineup and Eats went till 5 30 AM max. Can't comment on the other Cox dates.
 
In that case, I can't imagine it was ever open until daylight. Especially since Resistance's season begins at the height of summer - a lot later than everybody else - and already by week 2 the days are getting shorter.
 
Thanks for that. What about other nights, solid grooves for example, is the current closing time (6.30-7am) late enough to see sunrise?

Be a shame to be in that room and the night end before sun come up
