it’s never mid June tho. Usually around 8th/9th/10th.

On this one occasion I do actually feel for you Stivi... having all the answers but not being able to say must be quite frustrating!
 
Crickey! I didn't see this cocoon news coming! I'm not sure what to make of it tbh! ... I'll wait to pass judgement because as WIC has already stated, a decision like this will not have been made overnight! Somewhat exciting times though, I think we can all agree!

2018 is aliiiiiiive!
 
Wow did not see that coming, Cocoon at Amnesia is possibly my all time favorite event, would be a shame to see it move, but nothing lasts forever..


I keep thinking how much longer can Cream go on for? I think it still gets the numbers I guess, but it has changed so much since it was Amnesia's flagship night of the week in the late 90's early 2000's.. Kevin and Perry helped it too!

Above & Beyond and Paul van Dyk are still big names, so assuming they keep choosing to stay on board, there's still a lot of pull.
And that doesn't touch on the terrace lineups, which, while more commercial, still have decent pull (Fatboy Slim, Mark Knight, etc).

Although that's on paper. I don't know how busy it is during the early and mid part of the seasons. @stivi is it normally still busy?

I went to the Opening in 2016. Wouldn't call it busy by any stretch. Probably the quietest I've ever seen Amnesia actually. Still busy enough for a good atmosphere peak time. But loads of space at the bar, no toilet queue and no bottle neck between rooms. Emptied out v.early.
Fatboy Slim & DJ Fresh on the terrace. No idea who was playing main room, but it was trance.
