The garden was pretty busy, when that closed both rooms filled a little bit still loads of space. Maybe they got busier after I left though

neither dc10 nor pyramid were full last night and this was very much forseeable. it was probably the quietest monday of the whole season, nothing new. this week will stay pretty quiet (with the exception of gay pride people coming for the weekend) as it's sonar over in BCN. and then it will start to pick up again next week.
with the dc10 line up that has just come out, I wonder how pyramid will want to fill both rooms next monday. tricky stuff.

They’ll have to do something pretty special, even with the lineup pyramid have, I’m not sure what it would take to draw me away from that circo lineup.

My impression from last night: Not one of the best Music On Partys - it was pretty empty (which is not the badest thing) & mixed audience (more shouting and chattering people than usually) and the music was nice but Carola seems little bored ...

Dettman and Recondite tugs the techno fans towards circo loco, its an expensive lineup for Pyramid, this one might really hurt.
Just goes to show how good/consistent Cocoon was, I know they had quiet nights but they did the business. Pyramid is young though so we probably shouldn't judge until the end of the season.

Sadly I’m not on the island, but if I were, until today I’d have been going to Pyramid, but what circo have just dropped would make me change my mind. Much longer, outside dancing and, a fantastic line up.

Yeah I thought they looked much better this year. The clown seems to have disappeared completely from recent promo posters?

I'm also just told that massimiliano pagliara, the panorama bar resident who we had booked to play in b12 at the end of april for one of our own parties will be closing the garden apparently next monday. anyone on the island for this, don't miss him. I've only been once to dc10 this season so far (the opening) but no way I am missing circoloco next week. so many artists I love on one and the same line-up, it's crazy!
