It's what I would describe as a very standard Circoloco affair - but standard by Circoloco standards is always great.
Besides the big hitters and residents that are always there its great to see people like Guy Gerber, Gerd Janson and Amelie Lens involved. It's going to be incredibly busy but no doubt a superb party.

I did not unfortunately, had a prior commitment, but i was in the same space the event was held (Avant Gardner) for a Cityfox party with Tiga and Ame a few weeks back and it was a pretty top notch venue. I imagine the Photon event would've been pretty wall to wall. My only complaint about that place is the sound is a little echoey but after all it is basically a dressed up warehouse.

I've noticed that felix the housekat is playing Rumors when we're there. It helpfully (if patronisingly) says disco in brackets, although that could mean absolutely anything. I hope he deviates from the script and drops some old Aphrohead bombs. Sock it to the man dude. Don't allow yourself to be pigeon-holed.

2 schools of thought here:
1. USH are making a belated push for a serious music adult crowd - possibly too late though. Some will see it as akin to KFC launching a fine-cuisine vegan range. Stick to the dayjob...
2. the music is just a backdrop on this night to people on beanbags having massages, which is why they can afford to take the risk. it's effectively subsidised by the other nights so they can afford to indulge their more 'creative' impulses

Is Rumors outside just like the cocoon shows? Always wanted to go to destino but never been to Zoo Project either so wanted to try that this year. I know ill prefer music at Rumors but Zoo looks more fun..... Im there Sunday June 3rd so Josh Wink date. Gutted I land on 2nd so miss Cocoon outdoor on the 1st

I think you are right on both of your schools of thought. What's funny is i was reading some very comical posts i think on facebook and maybe instagram regarding this night and people were 'outraged' that they were 'ruining' Ushuaia with this kind of night. Clearly the david guetta, martin garrix loving edm youngins, but man did that make me laugh.
But i think i said it in another post, Ushuaia sees this 'desert house' or whatever you want to call it as the new big fad (and it kind of is at the moment) so they are trying to capitalize. Will people see through that or just go anyway because its Ushuaia? I'm not sure, I've never stepped foot in the place because the one time i tried to go for Luciano back in 2013 the event got cancelled for some reason but if i were to go, I'd probably give this night a shot if it had a decent lineup and for nothing other than maybe a chance to see the place not rammed end to end.
