For me Rumors is unmatched for the setting, I'm a big time Destino lover, but it is definitely a more upscale, 'cool' people, see and be seen kind of posing crowd. Saying that, I've been twice to Rumors at Destino and both times were amazing for me and i went solo to both. As far as fun is concerned, I'd def say its Zoo as you mention, but i wouldn't miss that Josh Wink date, however i am partial as Josh Wink for me is one of the top djs around for a long time.

Thanks for the advice, im with the wife so think she might prefer the cooler destino and were in PDB so nearer......

99,999% zoo project
Rumors is more social event as ive only seen 20 people dancing :D
Zoo is very fun , done 9 parties last year Music is feucking good :cool: House Techhouse Techno with a few classics
Drink prices at destino 12€ schweppes :mad:, 5€ a soft at Zoo, 2€ for me as family member :p
if u r hungry destino restaurant is not same price as zoo food :D
i may have a go at destino to please a spotlight, hoping not average people will be there standing :rolleyes:

It's well worth it if you've never been and I'm willing to bet the wife will love Destino if for nothing other than the view alone. Yes, its more expensive than the Zoo, but I think it'd prob not be too crazy there in mid June either which will be nice. You can get some pretty good cocktails at Destino as well, last I was there i had some killer Mezcal drinks and never waited for than a minute or two to get one. Destino is one of those places I yearn to go back to and will really miss if i dont make it back to Ibiza this year.
 
When do you think the Thursday dates for Destino are going to come out? I am there on 12 July and would quite Solomun to be playing that day....

2 schools of thought here:

1. USH are making a belated push for a serious music adult crowd - possibly too late though. Some will see it as akin to KFC launching a fine-cuisine vegan range. Stick to the dayjob...

2. the music is just a backdrop on this night to people on beanbags having massages, which is why they can afford to take the risk. it's effectively subsidised by the other nights so they can afford to indulge their more 'creative' impulses

Also surprised that she would take that booking. I've not heard her say nice things about clubs in Ibiza outside of DC10.
 
I can't see someone like Luciano and DJ Koze playing and that being just background music. I wonder if they'll remove the stage and do something different altogether

but how are they going to fit 4 or 5 djs in a time period of 6 hours?

each playing for 1 or 1.5 hrs?
 
that said they might decide to open at 23:00 maybe, who knows. also maybe go to 6:30 but I can't see them going past that this summer.
