I have to applaud Black Coffee and Hi for that opening lineup. It's refreshing to see a lineup with some lesser known DJ's/Producers being given a chance as opposed to the usual big name ticket sellers.
Really? This is their opening party and the line up is weak. Agree to giving others an opportunity but surely they could have added a few more heavy hitters. Compare this line to any of the Space Openings, its not even in the same league.

Black Coffee isn't all that lately. Was good a few years back but he's been poor for a while imo.
this is exactly the sort of post that makes me want to gouge my eyes out. Have you even heard any of the DJs playing with Black Coffee? Maybe they're great DJs with great record bags? Maybe they have the music to shake Ibiza out of its tech torpor? New music, new skills, new sounds - gotta be a good thing right? Maybe they're all heavy hitters without any hype behind them. But all automatically dismissed because you've never heard of them.... everything that stinks about the safety-first, bums-on-seats, post-millennial music industry summed up right there.
any night that takes creative risks in the current commercial climate is to be embraced and celebrated not slagged off.
Black Coffee opening > Amnesia opening
So...there's gonna be storytellers in Ibiza, Woomoon, and Damian Lazarus and Friends this year? All seem to be very similar parties that might cannabilize each other especially on same days. Oh yeah and there's Rumors too which is sorta in the same realm
and don't forget the club room at hi on saturdays, which will feature a lot of this slow, dreamy house stuff going by their opening lineup.

Agreed entirely, but this isn't a millennial/new thing.
The same part of the brain that is responsible for the "I don't like this music, therefore no one else should" cognitive bias has also been responsible for most wars throughout human history.
I wonder if that's the case given the club room will be hosted by housekeeping every week. aren't they playing more the regular tech house stuff?
What is housekeeping.. and should I be excited
There's better lineups weekly put on in berlin.
Just had a Google..you...no.
Actually agree with you on this!!this is exactly the sort of post that makes me want to gouge my eyes out. Have you even heard any of the DJs playing with Black Coffee? The guy I quoted mentioned millennials, I was pointing out it is by no means confined to the millennial generation, as you rightly point out.Millennial new thing - What's that supposed to mean? Do you think you are better clubber or have better taste that many young people?
And for the record I'm 34 not Millennial, it just amazes me the amount of time people slack other people off on this forum. A lot of people on here think they are something special
