Ibiza Buses

If its the discobus, they stop and shout the stop out.

For Amnesia its pretty obvious as out the window you see the big billboard outside.

Just make sure get on right bus, the warden people help at station. D3 you want.

Note if its for kevin and perry the discobus AFAIK doesn't start until 11.30pm, but that night Amnesia starts 10pm. (I don't know if they discobus will run earlier for that night only)

So either local bus which stops on main road (someone know the number) or taxi.

For kevin and perry, quite a lot of solos going. Maybe share taxi?

Edit: pic is for regular buses L3, D3 is the discobus.
Thank you, thank you! This is so helpful MrHM!

I've never not been able to get on one because there's been too many people queuing, if that's what you mean. This time of season, with less young tourists and more older ones, I think youre definitely fine.

Outside the clubs, the bus stop are very prevalent. Assuming you are staying in San Antonio, just head to the bus station. If elsewhere: Playa d'eb Bossa (use the Ushuaïa stop or the one opposite Tantra (if Ibiza Town (Pacha or directly outside McDonalds/Burger King in the port)
This is the reassurance I needed. Thank you!

Heads-up for 2026; Easter's quite early and Ibiza have decided that's a good time to start the summer bus timetables; the airport - San An; airport express to Ibiza and the bus to St. Eularea.

what's the bus situation like from Es Cana to Ibiza town like? every time I try to go to the website it times out saying 503 bad gateway. I'm thinking of staying in Es Cana this year with a car, but of course I won't always be able to drive.

It’s no issue, used it all the time last year. The African hair beading ladies will keep you right!

Ibiza is changing.... Many of the traditional bus stops, an old sofa, a plastic chair, take your pick... are being replaced by actual bus stops with a roof! 😂😂

In the last years, the bus San Antonio <-> Aeroporto started quite early in the season - does anyone has more information for 2026? I found good flights, but 9am would be challenging with change in Eivissa.

There doesn't seem to be any timetable info up yet for Line 9 (Airport to San An). The last one I can find in my own files is from 2024 where it said they commenced running on the 22nd March. Each year it seems to get slightly earlier. First bus from the Airport to San An is normally 7am.
When are you going out? I fly out on the 10th May - hopefully all the beach routes should be running by then as well.
You can keep a check on the timetables here:

Well thank god! Ibiza public transport gives me third world country vibes. So much money on the island and they don't invest in good public transport...

Thank you very much for your answers, that helps a lot with my decision. I didn't book flights yet, but based on this information, it probably will be May 06-11.

Can anyone tell me if the L19 is in service during the summer, especially in September/October? It would be nice if you could get from San Antonio to Sant Eularia without changing buses. I'm thinking hard about not renting a car, or at least not taking it for the entire trip, and using public transport as much as possible.

According to this it runs May to end October, but they haven't uploaded a 2026 timetable yet this is from last year:
