ibiza 2019 observations

And you can swing while having a drink.
I've heard and read that the Sunrise bar is the unofficial Swingers bar of the island. Makes sense since they promote the Liberty swingers club there too with posters and flyers. I had a drink there once but we were the only people there ;-) And I know you meant the actual swings in the venue...but they probably represent the lifestyle ;-)

You seem well informed. I didn't know it is an "unofficial" hang out for swingers.

Isn’t this a gay bar?

Popped into El Patio just now early doors to support a friend who was opening up. First visit for me since they have turned it into a proper venue.
Got to say, though it wasn't busy I quite liked what they're doing there. Liked the fact you can get in the pool and soak up some sun during the event.
I didn't take my swimwear unfortunately, but next time I may well do.
Prices are €9 for a beer, €16 for a cocktail, €6 for 0.5l water. Tinto des varano €7. Fresh OJ €8. Red Bull €9. Soft drinks €7

Is it still Jose Ramon from IGR on Sundays?

Those prices are silly

why do you think the prices are silly? it‘s a proper club and if you compare to other club prices they‘re actually quite ok

Is it a proper club? I thought it was a pool with a set of decks. Never been mind so prove me wrong

three dancefloors, on some days open from 4-5pm until 6am... I truly can't see why it shouldn't be looked at it like that.
maybe you've not read that on certain days it's not free entry anymore. ticketed events, proper line ups and all that. have a look on spotlight calendar ;)

Even though this makes me excited for my August trip when we‘re staying at Bora Bora, I‘m also worried that if El Patio goes well, room prices at Bora Bora (which are „ok“, at least by PdB standards) will go up in the future... Well, guess I’ll enjoy it while it lasts...

Having a room there with free entry to the parties, the option to use the pool and go to your room to change is quite a good deal. You can even use the fridge for a cheaper fill-up, even though those prices are fair. Wish water was 6€ in other clubs...

Think the rooms prices will stay the same. They had bigger guests (Carola & Osuna) last season and not impacted things. Looks to me like they have promoters interested in using the venue and trying to establish days.

Im back in August to stay there again. Funktion 1 system in El Patio is excellent as well.

i don't know why but Bora bora, el patio (with paying entrance even 10€ with wristband from party of last night i was not really in for music on after party there.. ) doesnt give me will to get there, maybe its because i still have the mood of bora bora early 2000.

Ive been there 1 time last year along closing, it was quiet dead with 20 people dancing, im expecting 100 in order to have a mood.
where haven been those people dancing on table? i guess because of law restriction they killed bora bora ibiza
Same ibz 17,50 people dancing just one visit of 30mn.

I remember early 00, we always go to bora bora with mates, the afternoon. the place to be.

Just going back to the subject of their drink prices. While I certainly don't consider them cheap. They're pretty similarly priced to the bars on the Bossa strip - and in some cases a little cheaper.

Definitely, if you are going for a full-on "ravey" holiday, it's a good option to stay here.

Personally, I need some quiet time by the pool at my age. But 5 years ago, this would've been my idea of heaven.

My parents are in SA at the moment and reckon it's really quiet compared to last year. Will see for myself next week.
